    This is awesome, I’m working on one for my mom’s 80th birthday and was searching for ideas on how to prevent the top from swaying. I had to slow this video down to watch that part in slow motion but I really enjoyed this video. Thanks!

    The chair looks so cool!! Couple questions! Did you add wood under the cardboard or was the back just cardboard and did you secure them with nails? Currently trying to build my own throne and I'm having trouble finding the right materials! Alsooo...where did you get the foam? Thanks!

    • @underdevelopedphotography5952
      @underdevelopedphotography5952  3 года назад +1

      Hey! Thanks!! So I put wood on the side and one board across the top but the rest of the back is cardboard. You’re correct ☺️ I used nails to secure it - also used a staple gun in some places. I was worried about it being able to hold someone up but by the time you add the foam, the netting and the fabric it’s actually great and feels totally secure. I’ve probably had 10 shoots in it and everyone just plops right in it and talks about how comfortable it is.

      Oh! And I actually got the roll of foam at either Michael’s or JoAnns - it’s a 2” foam

      @@underdevelopedphotography5952 Thanks! I'm going to try that method. The back of my chair is super curved so I was having trouble finding a material that could flex to it. But if I add the wood I guess I won't have to worry?!
