To be fair the main use of Men-At-Arms is that they are cheap objective holders and/or Restricted unlock, which means that any point increase between them and Household Guard is bad.

currently favorite way to play armor of dominion is on a ST priory commander and stick him in a block of ashen dawn, now go hunt monsters/Varangian guard/dragon slayers...only gotten into a siege breaker once and your right its sad times

haha we really should have mentioned Long Lineage and Priory Commander! Seems an important talking point that PCs can't take artifacts without it
