- Quick walk around and walk thru of my only fleet coach as of right now. 1997 102-DL3 55psngr 325k miles Detroit series 60 with jakes paired with an automatic Allison b500 6-speed transmission. Kneeling system and brand new eye-popping upholstery. Will upload driving vid once bus is out the shop. For some odd reason, my signal lights and rear raise feature doesn’t work while the dimmer switch is all the way up for the dash lights :-/. Also having round LED lights installed for the taillight panels

Nice coach. Where you running out of? I know it costs a bit but some Alcoa’s would really make that thing pop. I never understand why buses are almost always on steels while trucks almost always have aluminum wheels. Anyways still a nice coach.

Good to hear. Id like to someday start my own thing in eastern NC. Im curious about those Van Hools C2045 and Cx45’s. Although I’m a little bias towards MCI, they definitely have a solid reputation. My old man drove for years for an outfit in SF and all they had were MCI’s so it’s kinda what I grew up around. You definitely can’t go wrong with another D model. The other thing to consider I guess is if you only have one brand it’d be easier for stocking parts. Whenever you get the next one post another vid, love to it.
Fireguy84 I’m really leaning towards a Prevost x345 with the same engine and trans. If not that model then I’ll get an older model which is the xl ii or le mirage xl ii. All the same lol. Just the yr that’s diff. A friend used to drive a vanhool c2045 and he said they’re good. But they’re not as durable as the mci’s and Prevosts. Whenever you’re ready? I have two dealers that will cut deals for me and I’m sure will do it for you because of me

Emma Gurrola mine doesn’t have monitors but I kno a lady at the nc/va line off of i-77 that’s parting out two dl3s like mine. One has flatscreens and I’m getting those of course. She has another one with the regular monitors tho
