This is my favorite travel channel of late. I like laid back content and people generally. Most African Americans need to visit East Africa once in their lifetime. It looks the way Africa is supposed to look, but also has all the western social amenities available for the ultimate experience.
If you're an African, you can imagine what you might see (everything in your country, probably more peaceful than some places), but if you're African American or from any western country, you'll be surprised what your brothers and sisters back in Africa were able to accomplish, while all you might have seen about Africa is slums, drought, sick kids etc... That is a small percentage of Africa, western media never does any Africa country a justice. Probably as good if not better than any decent sized cited American cities.
Oh wow! I remember visiting the giraffe center when I was about 11 or 12. That was like in 2000. This channel makes me want to visit home. Thanks for sharing. It brings back a lot of memories. 🥰🥰🥰
I agree with your assessment that Village Market is the better bet. Two Rivers is newer and bigger but more remotely located, hence yet to attain a good flow of traffic.
When i was living in Kenya, Village market was the place to be. Am glad that mall still ranks high in your rating. Next time am in Kenya, i will make sure i visit those other malls. And uh, Giraffe center is a nice place to visit in a nice neighbourhood. Karen country club was an other nice place to chill. I hear it s now open to the public. Makes me miss Kenya
Try also Westgate, the Waterfront mall, Garden City Mall, Galleria Mall, The Hub Mall, Sarit Centre, Rosslyn Riviera mall, Junction Mall, Capital Centre, ice skating at Panari Sky Centre too
Nice you visited 2 Rivers... Hey also try visiting Eastleigh, lots of people might tell you guys not to but it's the biggest market in Eastern Africa. Also they're just finishing up a mall bigger than two rivers called Bay Business Square there... Being in Eastleigh is like being in Somalia without going to Somalia. Also you'll find lots of food, Kenyan, Somalian, Ethiopian, Eritreans, Middle Eastern, Indian and American food as well.
@@FREEDOMCHASERSLIFE Hey Thank you guys for being a brave enough to give our country a try. Thank you for not listening to western media and giving Africa a try. U r in Africa brother if an old mom sees you carrying your baby on your tummy she will be pretty mad at you. In mother land babies are carried on one's back n here is why: if for any reason a locomotion or a stamped happens and you begin to run n by bad luck you fall, chances are the baby will hit the ground first right on the baby's face then in the process, you will fall on the baby n that will be fatal! Secondly if while walking something comes flying towards you from the front, the baby will be the first to get hit and right on baby's face, so bro carry your little on your back not from the front just like in your country you carry your little ones at the back seat of the car right why becsuse the back is the safest place in a car incase of a head on collusion, so carrying a baby on one'sback is safer than the front. Otherwise enjoy Mother land
