I love how he doesn’t disrespect women and he talks to them like they are human beings. I love how he calls the women who interview him ‘Queens’. It is so refreshing to see a rapper who isn’t hell bent on disrespecting women, especially ethnic women, and trying to make them feel unsafe all the time. It takes my respect for him to a totally different level than his peers
Not really sure how to put this, but I just want to say thank you for this comment, as it gave me an opportunity to observe my own personal internal growth and overall outlook/perspective. I recognized the difference when I realized how I used to hear about how hip hop is all about (or only about) disrespecting and belittling women, and for whatever reason, I would automatically invalidate or dismiss the claim, immediately followed by my justification for how/why that was incorrect. But when reading your comment, for whatever reason, it was received empathetically. What jumps out at me as I’m re-reading it is the part about being subjected to constant state of fear or threatening environments. I think that caused me to realize some of the difficulties that us men are completely oblivious to due to our being born as the physically dominant of our species. Again, I don’t know how to fully convey what I’m wanting to, but hopefully that made some semblance of sense. Thank You #Queen
You sound terminally online. Most rappers don’t blatantly disrespect women. Where do you even get that from? Just because they aren’t calling them queens 24/7 like Busta doesn’t mean they disrespect women. 🤦
Loved this interview especially when he spoke on how he was raised in the US by Caribbean parents, that hit home. Been rocking with Busta since Leaders of the New School…much respect
but...his caribbean parents fled their 'lovely' caribbean island to come here to live off of "others" struggles and fight here in the US - instead of fighting hard to fix up their 'lovely' caribbean country. Got it...
Man I really hope there's a part two to this interview. I love all the stories and the growth and the wisdom shared between the two. Please make it happen!
Busta is one of my favorite artist on the planet!! I love how Angela is so engulfed in the culture. The child like smiles and giggles shows she really LOVES what she does! I appreciate you Yee💙💜💙
Every time Busta do an interview it's the blueprint for these young & older people to listen from a man that have made millions about the pros & cons of life.

very well said 1:29
I agree with you and I think that says a lot about how pathetic our world has become. This way of respecting each other should be the norm.
But he calls women bitches in his songs...or unless that's for song purposes.
Not really sure how to put this, but I just want to say thank you for this comment, as it gave me an opportunity to observe my own personal internal growth and overall outlook/perspective.
