I love this show on so many levels. One being that we had a big cattle ranch right around the corner from where they film the series. So once a day I check in on them. Thank heavens that CBC runs the series from the 1st episode until Amy and Ty get married, yearly. It brings me great comfort and peace of mind to come home once a day. Plus as Jack says at their marriage " these two have had quite a courtship and every one what's to weigh in" Or something like that. Then there is the furniture, those leather chairs with the Dog and horse head silhouettes in the living room, they are exactly like the ones the Gustafson family used to have. Our family had a Chuckwagon Wagon Wheel coffee table with the glass top, exactly like the one that sits in front of the Heartland fireplace. Those old log fences also look like the fences that the Gustafson family had on their ranch " The High Noon " west out of of Turner Valley towards the Forest Reserve, just a few miles south of where they shoot the Heartland series. They had same hand forged hardware that the fences on the show do. Takes me back home to the find memories of herding the cattle up into the summer pastures up in the Forest Reserve . Then the big cattle drive again in the fall. Picking stones out of the fields in spring. Hay season. Cool nights down by the Sheep river cooking steak over the bonfire as we washed the Haying dust off for another year. The guitars and singing would start. Picking saskatoons in August to make Sunday pies. But most of all I miss the after dinner family trail rides. The sun slipping down behind the mountains, the purple shadows start growing long the coyotes start to sing their songs. Oh how I miss my foothills as i live down here in our middle east. Peace. KEH

There are many supposed reasons why Graham left, and only until Heartland is over will we possibly know. Seasons 1-13 will always be the best ! Anything after that is the writers and producers and cast trying to replicate what Graham and Amber had . It will never happen !!! We as fans have only to continue to rewatch the past.
