I laughed when I saw you use the lint roller on your MPC pads! Then I got an MPC One Retro, and now I know why!! My god those pads attract all sorts of dust etc. Thanks for the tip, a roller is just the the thing. Cheers. Keep up the great videos!! Cheers.
That was incredible dude. Thank you so much ❤ quick question 🙋♂️ how did you connect your mic to the mpc? Mic into your sound card and the out of the sound card into the MPC in? Using a xlr-> jack adapter direct in? else?
Great to hear that, thank you! Unfortunately I don't have omnisphere^^ and also I don't use my mpc with the software, only standalone .. but if you have any ideas concerning mpc standalone, tell me:)
Appreciate these videos man! You show techniques I would never have thought of and give some really cool ideas on ways to change up a beat. Good stuff!
Respect brother.. I can't get my pads to sound out the notes on the main sequence page like you did in 0.50.. and what is the red circle on the track in the main sequence page? Cheers brother 🔥
Impressive. The melody/sound reminded me some of William Orbit sounds used on Madonna’s Ray of Light album, specifically the song “Little Star”, I’m really blown away with this one. I prefer the third melody option (the one you used on your final beat). I’d like to know how did you set up the mic to record your vocals directly into the mpc and what plugins you used to process them. Great stuff as always!!!
🙏🙏 Thanks Pablo! I'll have to check that out! I actually just found out how to properly to this (record vox straight into mpc) and I'll make a video about that! You can connect your interface per USB with the mpc, then go to preferences and then hardware and then choose your audio interface. I think I put the the air eq, air compressor and some distortion on the vox and I think sent it it to a subtle delay..
@@Marrcello Ok, I see it… Thank you! I own a zoom recorder and I found that connecting that zoom via the line out to input channels (same way as you do with sampling) works pretty well. You can record mono or stereo vocals this way. The only thing is that you’ll get a digital signal (as if you do when using a USB mic, which also works in this environment), so there will be more parameters needed to adjust in order to avoid phasing issues and stuff like that. About the melody, I’m still thinking of the works of Aphex Twin/William Orbit stuff which I love!
How long have you been working with the mpc? Do you have a video on how you recorded vocals into the mpc? I love watching your videos I’m always learning new tricks.
holy fuck 20 minutes just to create something interesting. I'm starting to question this device. Is it just mediocre at everything? What interesting use cases are there for someone who is not a beatmaker and has no interest in it.
Do You make instrumentals for Singers/Rappers or do you make music for yourself, or both?
so far just for myself, love the videos as always, you make the best on RUclips!
@@philingupspace Dope! Thanks a lot!! 🙏🙏🙏
@@Marrcello Of course!
Both
Both. Thanks for these gems man, really helping me shape my way on how to use the MPC ^^
That lint roller at the start cracks me up everytime, and now that I've got my MPC One, I COMPLETELY GET IT.
Lol🤣 yeah its a necessity..
Dude you really helped me understand the hidden features that makes very unique music. thank you
Just got on MPC and I also found my new favourite RUclips ! 🔥
😅🙏🙏🙏 I appreciate it:) Have fun with it!
Another amazing tutorial! It sounded pretty nice even before bouncing and slicing, but the end result sounds very unique. It's amazing!
Thanks man!!🙌🙌🙌

The red circle means the track is armed, so ready to record
