As a desperate parent trying to help my teen, I couldn't click fast enough on this video! I think you have zoned in on heart of the problem between active and passive. She can follow along, understand what is happening, then the next day be completely at a loss with it. She has always had a tutor, and we help her as much as we can in leading her throught it, but through out high school its been a constant emotional struggle for her. She just despairs at how long it takes her compared to everyone else. And she completely seizes up. Thank you for the video.

I thought I was the only one on this entire planet that struggled with this. I can understand math but when I practice problems my mind just goes blank. And then I'd get demotivated and stop practicing altogether.
Same bruh same but what I didn't understood in this video is practicing questions without looking for soln is the key BUT I've done it numerous times still my mind goes blank I don't find anything to extract from my brain to apply on the question unless it's just a quick formula based questions for which we have to memorize formula

If your not geting the answers you dont understand the math. It is really that simply. The problems are there to check that you understand the concepts. The wrong answer means you misunderstand and read it again or find help.
I disagree. It’s the same concept when you were in school and the teacher guided you to the answer however that guide looks like what should be done next and you end up answering the question yourself. You understood the concepts, it’s the bridge that is missing.

Don't worry! I was worried about my maths exam too..! But then, it turned out pretty good than expected! Panic causes much more lesser implementation and mind working. Just remember, if you are scared or not panic or not, you are the one who is going to attend the exam. So do your best, leave the rest!
