When my uncle use to be the general manager at McDonald’s, he told
me everything was fresh. The beef was bought local never frozen always fresh.
Used an ice cream scoop to scoop out the beef and slap it on the grill.
onions were chopped at the restaurants, ice cream was made fresh not synthetic.
Fries were cut fresh, as soon as customers order fries they cut them asap, they were mostly from Idaho. How sad it went down hill quality wise. Nothing like the orignal founders intended

I work at mcdonalds, here's some tips: don't order grilled chicken without asking for it fresh, it sits forever because it never gets ordered and no mcdonalds throws it out until it's literally looking gross. You don't need to order fresh fries unless you go at an extremely slow time, at busy or steady times we cook fries fresh like every five minutes, you're just making our job suck. And don't try to get clever by ordering with no salt, all you have to do is ask for them fresh and we have to cook it fresh. You can be heard over the speaker throughout the entire kitchen as soon as you pull up, so talking shit and saying emberassing things will have us making fun of you and giving you worse treatment.
McDonald's is a terrible company, the management sucks and cares only about profits and numbers, I regularly work 8 hours without even a smoke break, and trying to call in sick is a nightmare, if you are too sick to work but not sick enough to go to the doctor they will insist you come in unless you can produce a doctors note, even if you are throwing up, they will make you come in and handle food.

seems like your McDonalds needs a management change. I was a manager at a McDonalds and no food in my store was allowed to linger more the the time period marked on each product. An waste was very little too. Big amounts of waste means your over cooking your products. cooking too many far away. at times my cooks could not keep up with demand. less busier restuurants means cook less more often.

Like most North Americans, I grew up liking McDonald's. My friend in high school was begging me to come work with him there. Eventually I did. It was alright. I got paid $3.50 or so an hour (late 80s), and got a full meal for every 4 hours I worked there. Not bad for a teenager. Anyway, I did that for a school year, then left after I graduated. I still ate there for the next couple of years, then just dropped it. I couldn't do it anymore. I just had no craving whatsoever to eat there. It just seemed like oily, empty food. Plus, it wasn't that cheap compared to other stuff you could get, and it was relatively easy to make a much bigger, tastier burger at home for half the price, if that. On average, I've probably gone to McDonald's about once every 3 years or so since that time. I just don't understand the appeal. It's not cheap. It's not tasty. It's unhealthy. You feel bad after eating there.

Not me, I hated them from the start, and seeing so many commercials of them solidified the deal; all courtesy of a brainless clown manipulating dumb kids with junk toys. I ate there once - once. The fries were a tribute to nice lardy aftertaste, which most places at least spare their fries that treatment. I was also fortunate that none of them were close to my parents' home, so that my Dad would had probably gone there for take out. I don't think my Dad ever took us to a fast food joint to eat inside the place, although I can recall once or twice at Long John Silver's. Sheesh, the cost of the drinks alone would had saved him quite a bit of the expense to have eaten at home instead. The only thing eating at a fast food joint can benefit you any, is they MIGHT use crushed ice in their drinks, even though the drinks are expensive.

Avoiding tax is not illegal. If people do not like this fact they need to take it up with their governments who write the legislation full of loopholes that mean that an average guy on a salary has no way to dodge his tax but a multi million dollar corporation can do so easily, so long as they give board of directors jobs to retired politicians.

Remember that when you say no I won't donate, they'll just say "We'll get it from you some other way" However, tax credits for student loan interest, mortgage interest, teacher expenses, etc. are legal ways to avoid paying taxes too. Be careful on how you scream "tax the wealthy for everything" because it can trickle down and you'll end up paying your "fair-share" too.

Eating out is costly, and I can get far more for my money if I use coupons or go to a buffet. Even Subway can be cheaper and healthier than any McDs visit. When I was 18 I suffered a accident in which I almost died. I was in the hospital for 2 months and we lived 2 hours away from that hospital. My mom wanted to stay by my side. She would have had to stay in a hotel if it wasn't for the Ronald McDonald house that contacted her to let her know she could stay there for about 6 dollars a night. I am so thankful for the help that she got from them. It helped having her there right beside me through everything.

Also they do mchappy days where the money made goes to the charity. They do get a tax break for the money that they do donate, but that doesn't give McDonalds any other type of tax breaks. I have done a lot of research into the charity, because my family and I donate to them every year. We dont even eat McDonalds to be honest. We are able to make the choice.

The fact that the burger didnt smell and the burger was like a piece of rubber, and the bread wasnt hard was always suspicious to me because if I heated it up I could've gave it to somebody and they would've never known the difference. I took it as maybe the preservatives they may use, but just didnt seem right. Made me think about all the people at some point that might of got old burgers that was microwaved for 1 min and sold !!! A whole chicken is like 5 bucks at least. Two home made sides is another couple dollars. Your valuable time is worth 10 to 20 dollars. Ordering from these places in moderation is ok maybe once a week. A head of lettuce is a buck. Boneless chicken is like 3.50 a lb. I use 4 oz. Of chicken for a salad and make a lb last 4 to five salads with ranch. Also have a baked potato with sour cream and ground chuck on top for 2 bucks a piece. It's all about portions. On the other hand I spent 900 dollars eating out last month because I partied a lot because I was taking a break from life so dont listen to me. Eat rice and beans and you can eat for $0.50 A meal.

The way ppl don't is to go to a state that doesn't require it or register the company in a country that doesn't require that a company pays taxes. They're international, they can definitely register somewhere else.

Turns out it was completely full of French fry potatoes on the way to McDonalds. Almost all of them were black with mould and going rotten. So to be technical, McDonalds food spoils and rots just fine: until they cook it. Why do we do it? Why do we torture our bodies with fake, completely processed crap which is inedible 60 seconds after cooking, and tastes like complete shite? Have you ever seen the list of “ingredients” in a McDonalds “strawberry milkshake”? It’s about 6 pages of chemicals nobody could pronounce. But no strawberries. None. No milk, either. One basic McDonalds hamburger patty is potentially made from 700 cows. Think about that. 700 dead ground up cows in a big factory machine, puking out one burger patty at a time. Yum! And that’s my rant so, uhhhh, I’d like a Big Mac meal.... supersize fries.... and a coke.

It used to be a cheap place to take your kids out for lunch....and thankfully, they rarely finished their meals due to play areas. Now, it costs almost as much as real food but it's still the same crap. I buy only coffee there nowadays. Usually it's cold and old. I normally don't leave without checking in store and asking for a new hot fresh cup.

    5. They do what lots of other companies do. They pay as little tax as possible. They have never evaded tax, only avoided tax. Amazon, Google, Starbucks etc do exactly the same.
I'm VERY anti McDonald's, but don't make out they are something they aren't.

    • @556bc
      @556bc 5 лет назад +1

I agree. I'll go as far as saying that being mad at a person and/or company for legally "not paying taxes" is jealousy and all taxation is theft. There's no such thing as "loopholes", it's either codified or not codified. There's a multitude of ways that people or companies can reduce or eliminate their tax burden, and it usually has to do with your politicians.
