Great review. I plan to use it to call in foxes/birds for photography (hunting with a different device). I only wanted to plop down money once and this review sealed it - thank you.
That looks like a great call! I know one thing, the remote control on that blows the one I have with the Icotec GC500 out of the water! I can barely figure out what some of the calls I have are, because the screen is too small.
Did same as you and returned the revolt for the roughneck. Way better for night hunting. When hunting do you have your roughneck on a tripod to get sound off the ground?
Great review. I have a roughneck too, and I cannot figure out how to play a sound one time. When I play a sound it plays over and over and over. Is there a way to set the call to play the selected sound one time?
I know I’m late, but just curious how loud does this caller get, and do you worry about distortion in this unit when playing any particular sound at max volume? Even if you don’t use full volume, just asking in general. When I locate I like to hammer the volume sometimes, with my X2s some of the 16-but sounds and mfk sounds worry me when going past volume 32. Whereas with my Fusion I’d turn off the speaker on the caged side, and never worry about full volume. Thanks! Love the channel man Btw could you help me get my hands on a Foxpro cs24c? Thanks brother
Wow the Rougneck is alot of size difference compared to the Revolt. The remote control that comes with the new one is really an upgrade from the old. Does the Roughneck have all the same calls as the Revolt? Great review, Lucky Duck should be sending you a check for the reviews on both!
Long time user of the Foxpro Fury & Fusion myself . Love them ! Where is the ROUGHNECK made ? Looks like only 1 year warranty compared to FOXPRO’S 5 year warranty. Why did you switch from Foxpro to Lucky Duck when they are comparable on price ??
Called in a lot of coyotes with my Fusion and still have it. Once you hear the Lucky Duck, you would be sold. I know it’s not made in the US. Not sure where. Thought I called in a lot of coyotes with the Fusion but I am calling in twice as many with the Lucky Duck. Still like my Fusion but haven’t touched it since I got the Roughneck. Sound clarity is so much better on the LD.
Did u have any issues with the revolt other than it being big and bulky, and the led being on the side? I just bought a revolt. Thanks for the good reviews.
Thanks man! None at all! Actually really like it and killed quite a few coyotes in the short time I had it. If it was under the return period, I would’ve been happy with keeping it. Subscribe to follow along if you care to.
Have you had any trouble with the remote josh? Mine occasionally will randomly shut off. Battery life indicator goes back and forth and seems unreliable also. Not a huge deal, more an annoyance lol
Agree. I've been using FP Shockwave with TX1000 remote and asumed the LD revolt remote would be backlit also. IT IS NOT!!! What were they thinking?????????

Thanks! I appreciate the comment! Good luck with it...I am sure you will enjoy the successes.
I had an issue deciding cuz I want the spin like the revolt. THEN I discovered motorized tripod heads to make any caller spin and remotely
Yeah, that’s always an option too. 👍
Could you guide me on one to get?
Compared to the foxpro fx1000 remote is the lay out the same where you can break the calls up in folders?
Yeah, you can put sound files in different folders.

Did same as you and returned the revolt for the roughneck. Way better for night hunting. When hunting do you have your roughneck on a tripod to get sound off the ground?
No. I always just set it right on the ground. Works fine that way for me 👍
Great review. I have a roughneck too, and I cannot figure out how to play a sound one time. When I play a sound it plays over and over and over. Is there a way to set the call to play the selected sound one time?
Thanks!! Not to my knowledge. I just control it with volume and start/play.

In your experience, which one has louder, more crisp sounds, the roughneck or the x24?
Both very similar and great sound quality. Probably overall sound to Roughneck but splitting hairs.
Good review, ordered one of these mainly for the sounds.
I use the Eneloop batteries as well, do you know if you can charge them in the call?
Nope. You have to buy the $90-$100 rechargeable pack from Lucky Duck.

The Roughneck has the same as the Revolt plus more added calls 👍 It’s pretty sweet!

I'm in the business for a new call. I have been going back and forth between MFK FoxPro and the Lucky Duck roughneck. Why did you go with Lucky Duck?
I use both the Roughneck and the X24. I like them both a lot and killed coyotes with each one last weekend.
does this call have a feature like foxbang ?
Great review🤙🤙 That thing seems super loud on your videos. I know they come a running😃
Thank buddy! The coyotes love it 😉🤘🤘
What kind of battery it take? How long it lasts.?
You can buy external packs but I just put 10 rechargeables in it and it lasts all night!

Jeremy Stevens no problem!

No, not yet. Been pretty smooth so far. I’m sure if it keeps it up, they will make it right for you.
I have. I contacted Lucky duck and they sent me a new remote. Mine kept shutting off and wouldn't stop or pause during calls.
CEO of hunting by himself
I wish you could get that roughneck remote with the revolt
Yeah, I have seen a lot of people asking if they are compatible. No plans for them to be.
@@HoosierHunter That's a shame. My ONLY complaint with the Revolt is the remote isn't backlit. If it was it would be a perfect call.
@@jamesstarr7912 Agree +++++++++

What is the range
The remote goes further than I would ever need it. 130 yards plus.
Nice new predator call brother. Great review on it
Thanks buddy! Appreciate ya!
Can add Crain and ducks sounds ?
Yeah, if you can find them. It will take all kinds of file formats. Mine came with some geese sounds.
Do you like the full length hunts
I never use them. I like to control the sequences and sound levels.
Just bought one $784 later hope it's worth it
Pricey but worth it. You will enjoy it!
I keep hearing the Revolt is cheaply made. Mehhhh. Don't like hearing the word, "cheap"!
Yeah, Revolt does feel cheaply made. The Roughneck is made quite a bit better.
@@HoosierHunter I bought a FoxPro. The Ducks are still in China.
Yep. I still use both.
Where do you think the charger and electronic stuff is made??? China!
