Captain's Chair won't be out for Essen, but I'll be there, and my one copy will be in my backpack, so if anyone wants to look at it, hear me ramble about it, or get a promo pack, just walk up to me and ask.
this was the full (or 'extended') episode. what wasn't uploaded was a video that was "just the list". this is a new change... folks have said they don't want to see multiple vidoes on a given topic, so from now on runthroughs and final thoughts are combined into one video, and there's no longer the "shorter" r&r separate videos :)
Im not sure about Steam Power. I already own Brass Birmingham and Nucleus, this looks just like a streamlined version of Both... Not sure if we need ANOTHER networking train game...
I've only been able to watch up to 14:18 for now, so maybe you will talk about it later on, but just curious if you guys will be coming to Essen this year❤
Kanal will be available at Spiel, but there are no current plans to distribute it in North America. You can order direct from the publisher, but shipping is very costly.
UPDATE: according to the publisher, english version will be at Essen Spiel as well. Here's where they confirmed it: boardgamegeek.com/image/8363442/oranienburger-kanal?commentid=12325766#comment12325766
@@rahdo I confirm! :) There are still only a few English versions available (120 units). The stock is disappearing like snow under the sun. We didn’t expect such high demand for this first print. We're also looking for a North American partner! Let’s hope that Essen presents us with this opportunity.
I did watch Tom's run-through of Kathmandu a while ago and I decided against backing specifically because of the take that element of the game. It'd probably be fine at a higher player count, but at 2 players it wasn't great for me. It was about physically taking another players items. I can't remember specifics, but it turned me off right away.
New airports but also new rules and modules for Sky Team Turbulence ✈ 😏! Thanks for featuring us in this top video!
congratulations on how huge a success the original game was. i'm sure this'll sell out almost immediately! :)
@@rahdo Thanks a lot!
preordered the expansion yesterday :)

Will you attend Essen this year Rahdo?
Thorgal looks extremely impressive but i wish they had the option for competitive play too.
sadly no. since i've moved back to the states, it's a bit to expensive for the LOOOONG flight to essen :(
@@rahdo i see. I hope you can come to Essen again. You know it's such a fun time.

There are no Kickstarter planets in Supermoon expansion for Planet Unknown. So sad 😢
i still thought it was worth backing! :) there's so many planets already!

I think it was taking a map item and you had to have both halves in order to keep it safe from stealing.
Uncouncious mind !!! I want to play it now!
me too :)
Starting with a thematic game (by your sponsor) I'd hoped there will be more in this video but no, just dry euros (maybe except Thorgal).
