the points I want to make:
Many people mocked James just bcz he ran away. People consider James a coward because of that and then try to compare him to Gun just because gun is a warrior who always faces all of his opponents no matter what. You can't think like that, from the beginning James' goal was to get the red paper. He himself admitted the damage he received from seongji isn't negligible, so why would he fight all the kings at once? It would only make his plan fall apart if he lost lol. A smart man know his limits
James even state that he has to train more. Only a real man who admitted his disadvantages and try to be stronger after that.
James is very smart to run. The problem is he’s been ducking fights way too often. Just a chapter ago he also ducked the fight with Incheon King

Tbh cheonliang flashback arc imo was not set up for only vin jin, it was to set a powerscale. Current time cheonliang is for that, the flashback was to develop more plot around kings etc and vin jin's origin so we can know his true potential
Definitely right about Vin Jin. For an arc that’s suppose to be about him, he definitely hasn’t gotten any spotlight and that’s pretty much my huge issue with this arc.
PTJ basically had to add all this lore for the Gen 0,Gen 1 Kings,James/Charles and Gun lore and backstory so I understand but it really does suck for the Cheonliang Fam and Vin Jin. I’m hoping now that Gen 1/0 fights ended we can proceed with Vin Jin’s story.

Since we haven't seen Jaegyeon Na fight yet, I think he will be at the forefront when it comes to who is the strongest king. The fact that he caught up with James Lee so quickly without his eyes having that blue aura underlines this once again

uhh no.. the reason why James said that Seonji was stronger than the other kings is because they did not really fully showcased any of their skills from fighting the 0 zero generation fodders so he pretty much underestimated the other kings… kinda like how he underestimated Seonji too before they fought… as you can see when he said he can deflect Taesoo’s punch but sure as heck, he didn’t deflect it, second he said he’s still the fastest only to be proven wrong yet again since KoD caught up immediately.. so yeah it was just him underestimating the other kings.

All these kings came when Seongji called for them + We saw every first gen king assembled to pay respect to him on his death anniversary. He may have not show leadership or formed a gang like Gapryong, but he sure as hell was the Gapryong Kim of his generation strength wise.
Crazy to think how far Seongji could have gotten if he allied himself with someone with a strong sense of leadership like Jichang.
