The 23/24 season was a freak season that was ruined by long term injuries to key players. Unless you're saying that's going to happen again, what evidence is there to say man utd will have such a season again?

If ETH was failing with a discernible style of play that shows promise for the future, I would have faith in him. But they've chosen to keep him anyways. I won't be surprised if Simon's prediction that he'll be gone by end of next season comes true

SAF finished 11, 12, & 13 in three of his first 4 seasons. 8th looks pretty good. ETH has won more trophies in his first 2 seasons than SAF won in his first 6

Whatever that you say would be credible only if this was the performance that Ten Hag produced with relatively full first team squad especially the back line, but unfortunately and disgracefully due to odd unprecedented amount of injuries and players faking injuries and ditching matches this was not the situation.
Your Pep, Klopp, Ancelotti or the lots could not produce what they produced with an ever changing set of players every week for the whole 9 months season.
The moment United got their full team especially their Main Back 4 and 2 Main Central Midfielders, they were playing solidly as they did in the season prior denying one of the Best Team in the World for the whole entire game an equalizer and consequently won The FA Cup which is deserved.

not a fan of ETH but i can understand the conundrum faced by many. No one has won back back trophies since SAF, yet no one has finished as low as 8th place.
