I came across this tote while looking for something reasonably sized to carry tools around the house for little projects, without having to haul one of my large tool bags or using plastic grocery bags or making multiple trips to the basement for tools. Going tomorrow to check this baby out in person. Thanks for the video and providing dimensions for the parts storage area, as I was planning to get a few interchangeable plastic containers for that spot. This was just the video I was hoping to find!
You can inset a lot of tools when thinking upright. I add my basic hammer, lock pliers, channel lock, multi-screw driver, scissors, tape, tie downs, pencil, pen, paper, pieces of wire, lineman pliers, glovers, masks, hats. All good. The tools stay inside the box due to the height of the box. Well made. This is a carry and go tool box that will often leave in the when visiting friends and family that need help.
@@DrBDIY I don’t really want to insert a lot of tools; my current bags already have that. I just want a small caddy to quickly gather whatever few tools I think I might need to do a sudden plumbing or electrical job on the house or maybe a small automotive job. My current method has been to toss the needed tools into a bucket or plastic grocery bag. This approach would allow me to keep a basic set of tools in the tote, then temporarily supplement them with job specific tools and then remove the job specific tools after the job is done. I was also trying to find the Toughbuilt 12” open tote, but it looks like Lowes no longer carries it and it’s not on Amazon. There is a 16” version I am going to check out, but that may be too large for my purpose. Mainly, I was thinking something like my power drill may not fit in the 10” Kobalt tote very well, albeit I could carry the drill separately.
