Karumero is actually how it is spelled in the katakana characters used for his tag, but the translation/pronunciation is Carmelo. It’s sort of like how tenisu in Japanese becomes tennis in English. Also, congrats on 7k man, I believe in the 10k goal
1. Love that everyone got a mini-clip in the background. 2. Acola is definitely number 1 this year, but i think the perfect 100 score is a bit too much, losing some dominance towards the end of the year. 3. IS THAT A JOJO'S REFERENCE??!!
About Hurt being the fastest ranked player ever: Remember that Onin got 6th on UltRank 2022 from Unranked, and MAISTER got 6th on PGRU V2 in 2019 from Unranked.
idk if I'd call Gluto the "horsemen slayer" considering his only win on any of them in the 2023 season was on Sparg0 at Tera (his Miya wins were in 2022 and 2024). In fact he struggled with all of them
The most controversial thing in top 10 is miya at 4th. He won 4 super major like Spargo, but he wins even more A+ tournaments. He deserved that second place.
Head-to-heads mattered a lot in top 4 due to how close all points were. Stats on LumiRank said that miya was second rank going into watch the throne but due to sonix/spargo winning it was enough to change final rankings
It was kinda sad because Miya won 11 majors this year (the most of anyone) and got to grand finals in 14 of them yet he only got 4th place because of H2H and bad unranked losses.
Granted he did have the most unranked losses in the top 4 surprisingly. For the horsemen, head-to-head matters on the panels a lot since he didn't win a major with other top 3 in attendance so that's really why. Although in my speculation if they did only half a year ranking like most people wanted, Miya would've been way higher but tourneys like Kagaribi and Battle of BC was more influential on rankings
Imo marss didn't attend enough to warrant being ranked 24. Sure he's godlike we know that, but attendance should matter when it comes to these rankings.
According to one of the Lumirank's creators, they do put people lower down for low attendance. Marss would've probably been top 20 if they didn't do that.
@@aisuiro.cellist That's a huge issue that the algorithm favors low attendance. The penalty should be much more harsh since you are basically avoiding events for a better ranking
Some of the top placements i don't agree with are, Asimo below both Zomba and Fabuz, specifically Dabuz. Light over Tweek and Sonix & Sparg0 above Miya.
Congrats on being apart of the Lumirank team, honestly this is great stuff and content, looking forward to watching you grow!

@@SeriousStriker i don't think so, cause i remember leo being the only one to ever have a perfect score

Fyi, Eik is said like “ache”
Helps differentiate him from Ike (the japanese snake)
I honestly thought the snake is pronounced something like "eekei"

It's probably a ranking change depending on the panel.

Our glorious king Dabus made it into the top 15, even being ranked as the third best American over Zomba. It really is a glorious day!

me, an intellectual: maister went from unranked to number 6
Almost half of the top 150 players are from Japan. Don’t won’t to here anyone claiming that Japan isn’t the best region

Thing is that marss can easily top 8 a major whenever he feels like it no question lol
Missed opportunity to apologize to Little Z for rank # 38 being the best Falco in the world. 😂 Sorry Little Z!!! 🤣

Very cool 😎
I really don’t like year ranking I think 6 months is better
No wey sonix and soargo better than acola 100%
