French hockey fan here. Great to see you talk about our league ! Thanks ! Glad you placed my team the ducs d'Angers 5th. It's a decent logo but I much prefer the old one. The "ducs" has two meanings which explains why it was chosen : it's the french translation for duke as Angers was the capital of the duchy of Anjou, main title of the Plantagenet family ( Richard Lionheart etc.) before they became kings of england. But "ducs" also refers to the eurasian eagle-owl called "hibou grand duc" in french.
The red G logo looks like a Software logo....also that diable devils logo used a google search goalie mask I used the same one when I made an embroidery of Tuukka’s mask.
The boxers...oh my no...lol. I LOVE the approach that they took with the burning wolf that’s awesome, totally agree with your critique of it.
The pioneers is my favorite that one is great!

Pionniers fan here, they were called the "Chamois" for years before changing identity a few years ago.
Looks like it's the most titled hockey team in the world too as they won 30 championships :)
After the massive 128 logo bracket you had in March last year, I actually did one myself, consisting of 64 North American team logos and 64 European/Others. I choose my 128 favorite logos from a number of leagues and then had my Facebook friends join me to vote for each bracket. In the end, a French team came out on top. It was the Division 1 (2nd tier) team of Dunkerque that won it all, beating HK Astana (Kazahkstan) in the final. BTW, I always enjoy these logo ranking video. Keep 'em coming!

I studied French at High School but I could never get the hang of the language at all masculine aswell as feminine words & all that.
Italian, German & Spanish are much easier to lern in my view.
I can read a bit of Dutch but I cant speak it but I do understand the rules of that particular language quite well.
They say Hup Holland that translates as Hail Holland from Dutch in to English you curl the O to make it sound like a OO sound like when we in Scotland say Loch you do the same with The Dutch word Hup.
Y in English in a J in Dutch.

When I saw the owl logo I thought it would look awesome if it was just the owl. Then I Googled their jersey and found out that it is just the owl on the jersey... surrounded by ads that are the same size or bigger.
Yeah jerseys in France are full of ads, because clubs are financially supported by the partners, who pay for visibility on the ice rinks and... Also on the jerseys :( like many sports in Europe (soccer,...). I think that it really ruins the beauty of the jerseys but well... Without money...

You should look into the KIJHL ( Kootenay International Junior Hockey League) it's the junior B league in British Columbia and my current hometown team plays in it! I would love to see you rank logos from it, I could probably gather the logos for you if you're interested 😃

I much peferd Gothiques d'Amiens previous logo it look so much better in my view.

Good question about the Australian league. Isn’t their leagues logo has a kangaroo?
For those scorching hot countries such as Australia it make more sense on multiple counts not least of which from an environmental standpoint to go from ice hockey to simply having a pro floor hockey league
All the foreign hockey leagues have literally the best logos like NorthAmerica get better
