I’m not interested in being in the drawing but I love watching your channel. You’re so real and I like watching you work. And I love that you tell us what annoys you about a new product. Merci beaucoup!
I am commenting a second time because when I watched this last night I was too tired to make any sense or put any words on the screen. I think your swatching techniques are so smart. I may even get more confident about colors by using your method. Another think I realize as I watched was that I spent years believing I was no good because I could not invent everything in my head and put it all down on paper the first time. That's not how I write books! I do a rough draft. I add details on every rewrite. If I think of rewrites as "layers" it startled me to realized how many layers I use in every book I write. Good grief. How can I forget that learning to write took 30 years? But I still feel inadequate with art because my first attempt isn't perfect. Just wanted to share my evolution with you. I'm making progress!!! Loving your videos as always. Also love your notes on the screen confessing that you forgot to do whatever it was you said you were going to do early on, LOL. Sending hugs. What a great giveaway!!!
I have been craving to get into a new medium. I think these acrylic markers are just the way to do that. Your pros and cons have convinced me that I need these markers! I’ve followed arrtx on several platforms (including RUclips) and I’d love to put my name in the running for these markers!
I'm not on the other media, so I won't be participating, but they do look very nice. Good luck to those who enter. The colors look great. Nice and bright.
Of course I wanna participate in the giveaway. 🎉😊 And you’re really great, that you are always looking to treat your community well. Look into solutions like shipping in other countries. Really appreciate your commitment. 🙌
It's very helpful that you showed the color shift after drying in your swatch. I have tons of markers so I don't want to participate, but it's great that the company covers the postage 🙂
Hi Pete, I followed the link to ARRTX and subscribed. I would like to be considered for the giveaway. I’ve never tried markers. I’m naming your painting “The Laid back Psychedelic Craine”. LOL. I enjoy all of your videos….ALL OF THEM.
Hi Pete! I know I don't comment much, but I do watch your videos. I just watch on TV. Thanks for doing the giveaways, which I am interested in, btw, so please count me in. I have followed them.
Hiiiii Pete! Thankyou for your sassy and informative videos- I would love to win some markers to use in my art practice, so just commenting with fingers crossed :D Have a great day!!
I store mine tip up and have had no issues. The non-pump ones I store flat. My biggest issue with the non-pump ones is that the tips fray really easily. They seem to work best on marker paper. I tried them both on glass and air dry clay sculptures and they work really well. They are a wonderful alternative to posca markers (and imo much better). Have you ever used Karin acrylic markers? Could you compare them to the arrtx ones?
Hi Pete! I like how real you are about these. I'd still love to try them out. I'm sorta in the process of trying out different markers to figure out which brand to stick with for my art. So that would help! I did all the things arrtx asked, so you can enter me :). Thanks!
I really would love to try these markers. Please throw my name into the mix. I like that the tips are softer than most of the other brand of acrylic markers. Like you said those hard tips can chew up watercolour paper. I would also like to try a technique I have seen on glossy magazine pages and think these would be a better alternative to Posca. I have subscribed and followed both IG & TT accts.
Ohhhh... markers, nice! I'm more into alcohol markers... I assume that acrylic paint is not as transparent/translucent as alcohol markers? Second drawing looks really interesting - definitely a seahorse that party a little too much maybe - or just a very, very long night :D.
might have missed it, but was your second illustration based on a bird? Love it! Your style does suit the acrylic pens just as much as it does watercolour!
Also, forgot to tell you that on Diane Antone’s channel, she has done a lot with the Kurtake Sumi, golds, and granulating sets..one of our creatives took a box that lined them up perfectly and made a palette-like place for them. I wish I could post a photo on this, I would show you how. And she has creative sons with access to an3-D printer that took the leftover space and made a mixing area. I don’t have that.
I would love to give these a try, I've had good experiences with this brand. Please consider me as well. I followed allt the Arrtx accounts, just to be sure. Lol
Hi, I’d really like to be part of the giveaway. only recently found out about your channel and I’ve been watching many videos. *edit, And I have subscribed on all.
as soon as companies say you have to follow multiple accounts and tag other people in order to enter my brain just shuts down. Thankful Arrtx at least are not asking for people to tag/spam their friends in order to enter, though! I hate that SO much!
The brain neuron piece was incredible. Really sorry you lost the footage. Pretty sure they're not vegan so I will pass. Like that they don't make a scratchy sound on the paper. That drives me crazy. I'll leave a post on their channel telling them you did a great video.
I'm not interested in any markers, but I wanted to say that I LOVE your style in acrylic. It looks so rich and clean.
Thank you! I appreciate you. 🙂

I’d love to be picked Pete 😊 Thank you for asking Arrtx to do this for your viewers.
Thank you! That was really nice of them. 👍🏻 You're in!
@@IllustrationsByPete Thanks Pete, and by the way, your finished piece at the end reminded me more of a bird! 🥰
That seems to be the popular opinion. It could be. 🙂
I'd like to be counted in for the giveaway 👋 these look interesting. I've followed them.
Ur style is so cool
Thank you! I appreciate you. 🙂
These markers look fun.
They are. They work well for a lot of different things. Are you entering the giveaway?

Love your “Painted Duck”! It is great! (But it’s not a seahorse…)
And Yes! Please put my name in the drawing for the paint pens!
Thanks Anna! I'll put your name in. 👍🏻

I have never used those. I'll have to look into it. 👍🏻
Hi Pete! Please enter me 😍 thx! Illustrations by repeat 😂 looks cool Pete! I see a close up of a dinosaur head or exotic bird ❤
Thank you! Oh, that's interesting. I can see it. You're in. 👍🏻
I’m not mad bc I’m not into acrylics, but yeah, Brazil is a place as well lol
I know, right! Lol. I don't know why they ship to my north but not to my south. Sorry.

Absolutely! My advice is don't stick with one brand. The more flexible you are the easier it will be to create. You're in. 👍🏻

Second drawing looks really interesting - definitely a seahorse that party a little too much maybe - or just a very, very long night :D.
Right they are very opaque. 👍🏻😂
I saw a "pelican on shrooms" - but definitely a very, very long night for it 🤣
😂
I bought a 24 set of the Simptap and I love them. Please enter me.
might have missed it, but was your second illustration based on a bird? Love it! Your style does suit the acrylic pens just as much as it does watercolour!
it’s the black liner that really ties it together and makes everything POP
just got to the bit where you mentioned the seahorse. Ha. 😂
Thank you! It could be a bird. 👍🏻I agree, the ink makes it look more interesting.
Either way. Lol.
@@IllustrationsByPete maybe it’s so confused it doesn’t know whether it’s a bird or a fish 😂 either way, it looks fab

like, if people want to enter your competition chances are they already like your product and would recommend it. No need for the overkill 😊
I agree. I don't tag people for giveaways. I will follow but even that is a stretch sometimes. 😂
