Impressive! Those are really powerful motors.
I used them to start the glow engine my NITRO electric scooter project and a similar one in my last food dispenser video (to make it shake). Good job as always!

I gottan say i'm really impressed with the usage of only bought parts and no any serious metal fabrication done.
But If you are willing to learn new stuff i reccomend entering some forums and discussing some of the components you used. I think none of the drive train components will hold up more than several rides. But you can totally fix that and built a better one so that's an opprotunity to learn.
Some of the elements that are badly desgined:
1. The gear ration is not correct for such a motor.
2. All the brackets are thin steel sheets with a very low moment of inertia. those will fail either from the motor load or from the just random bumping in stuff.
3. The motors are exposed to rocks and debree hitting them.
4. The shaft of the final motor is way to thin to withstand the torque exerted by the four motors together.

Those motors must be burning. They are high speed. With reducer, it would be much better.
It is worth buying cheap spare parts on aliexpress and build regular ebike for less than 200 bucks. Or premade conversion kit for similar price.

у 775 напрямую очень слабый крутящий момент, надо редуктор из шуруповёрта к примеру. И да, кпд там очень низкое, на 775 электровелик делать - безумие.

Very innovative. However I see a lot of problems with dependability, especially in the 4 motor plate exposed to damage. The lead acid batteries will not last long better to use LiFePO4.
Bending in the motor mount will wear the motor shafts quickly, why not use one large motor?

Good practice, but as braking system and acceleration system is independent, driver may face a serious situation when abrupt stop. So braking system must override acceleration, such as by installing a circuit breaker

You need to add tension to the chain
Version 2 you should try using RC car motors there build for power and speed
You can get these 500 watt tiny little motors but they need a LOT of gear reduction or they'll burn out. Also they are designed for the high speed cooling of RC cars and probably not continuous load like climbing a hill on a bicycle.

Cool but some design flaws for sure, maybe try putting the brakes back on and mount the motors in the centre of the frame, connect the chain to drive the largest outer sprocket on the crank and the smallest from the crank to the largest rear sprocket, once you’ve started pedalling turn on the power and use the motors as power assist, you will still have to pedal so you don’t put so much load on the motors but it should be much lighter to pedal
He can just add some rim brakes.
Do you know if running a 36v battery and 36v rated controller on a 48v hub is legit? Like, will I ever run into any type of issues?

I'm surprised it had enough gear reduction to work well. I would have thought those motors were high rpm low torque by looking at them, and you'd want a large pizza sized rear sprocket.
Those motors have big torque, but the problem is that that motors weren’t made for e bikes, they were make for drills, saws, and other tools

It is nice work, but that rachet will come off because of the thread direction. The pulling force of the motors will loosen that rachet from the hub.

Я тоже перелез сюда с какого-то сайта, где нашёл этот ролик, чтобы черкануть этот вопрос.. Удивительно, что вообще нашли фривил, который можно перевернуть. Обычно они это не позволяют сделать..
Там вообще все решения очень спорные. Пластинка 1,5 мм погнётся 5:54 , болты, шпонка из чёрти-чего.. ремешок, который на такие усилия не расчитан, если не порвётся, то износится за 10 км..
Это видео явный развод тупо для просмотров.. Достаточно посмотреть на число подписчиков, чтобы понять, для чего такие лайфхакеры это снимают. 8:39 - тестирование с довольно сильной горки))))) хахаха)) По деревьям на заднем плане видно..

Yes, it use ordinary motorcycle battery to work, but you can use another type of battery too as long as your battery has sufficient voltages to supply that four motors. And to charging the battery you will need an appropriate battery charger...

в этом случае из " Г" конфетку не сделать, громоздко, не надежно,- боится сырости. надо ставить центральный мотор, убирать звезды и менять на фривил(звезду одну) и цепь пошире и помощней.

You should have aligned the motor poles to sync the torque output. Actually, you can align them to optimize torque or speed...
Can you explain a bit more ? those are regular DC motor, and they have only two magnetic poles (as much as i understand), and even if hey does align them they can slip and get out of alignment....

This sure as Hell won't last long in the UK with the batteries and motors exposed to the elements like that? The drive sprockets are not splined on and instead are simply held on with grub screws fastened onto round drive shafts with the motors bolted to a flimsy adaptor plate with no drive chain tensioner. Put any drive load torque on that lot and it will slip and bend like fuck. What could possibly go wrong? 😂😂😂
