Nice I just got this tip with the deflect a little bit ago. But I see she stayed in the fireball phase for you right until the end. I need a run like that and can for sure fully kill her :) She usually only stays in fireball mode for me for 3 balls but I don't attack in between maybe that was the key. Nice vid :) 👍
To keep her in the fire phase for longer you have to stun her during the 2nd phase transition with proper timing, she then gets stuck in that phase and skips physical gauge. You can see me doing it at 2:02 with Devil Bringer's Devil Trigger.
@@manuv8 Nice yeah I pulled it off once by accident then figured out you can knock her out of all her animations with rg style skill punch or like you did with Buster stun. I hit 78 mill now on HAH Devil Mite. Trying to replicate for a possible full kill :)
Thnx man was looking for this strat for a while now can you elaborate on the timing to get devil mite staggered tried it a bunch and only worked 3 times and I feel like my timing was correct is it immediately when she leaves 2nd portal to go into fire mode, is it immediately when she ignites fire mode or somewhere during the phase or just need luck?
@@kratosmuscle1163 you need luck, sometimes it works, others it doesn't. It used to be much easier to nail, but a few months ago they changed something and now it's very inconsistent.
If you stun her right as she's doing a phase transition, she gets knocked out and no longer phases for the rest of the fight. I did this at 02:03 with DB DT so she would remain in her fire phase for the rest of the fight and I could keep reflecting her fireballs back at her. The proper timing is hard to nail, though.
Yes, most units can do it with their ultimates, and some can with their QTEs. I used DB because both his DT and his buster (the punch) stun her, so you have backup if you mess the timing with one of them, and also he can lift fire gauge shield for extra dmg. Also, his DT is an instant stun, while some ultimates (like FoS punch and CT Judgment Dance) have charge times which make it harder to nail the timing with them.
Yeah, only the fireballs, though. You can deflect the smaller ones she fires directly at you, and the ones that fall from the sky after she launches the big one. You don't even need to perfect block them, you can just hold the button.
