That's false afrika korps did have The Tiger but it was supposed to be ready in time for the battles at El Alamein but was delayed, and then diverted to Tunisia to face the forces there. It wasn't until the last stages of the fighting in southern Tunisia that the Afrika Korps finally got its own Tiger tanks during the retreat from Wadi Akarit and El Guettar.
@@Rasmulk All of the Tigers in Africa were the property, ultimately, of Panzerarmee 5 which was commanded by Von Arnim. They did not belong to the Afrikakorps, and Rommel had no control of them until literally his last few days in Africa (when he was busy with other things). Take the battle of the Kasserine Pass, for example. Rommel requested that Panzerarmee 5 send support, including Tigers. They were not sent. He could do nothing about it. If you don't believe me, try to find a photo of a Tiger bearing the "palm tree" logo of the Afrikakorps. You will not find one.
