Cruelly mocked? She cruelly used the Olympics to get a free vacation to Paris. She cruelly blocked other breakers funding, people that actually knew how to break. What a stupid title...14 subs LMAO
The backlash over this is the perfect display of why breaking is not an Olympic sport. The lack of sportsmanship and respect toward the weakest competitor shows this. Other events would never treat the last place contender like this. It obviously takes a high level of skill and talent to perform break dancing well and it's even fun to watch but that doesn't make it a score-able athletic event. I hope everyone just leaves her alone.
She chose to make a mockery of an art form that others have worked very hard to be at.
It's great to have self confidence but it's also important to be self- aware. She supposedly studied breakdancing but has no clue about what it actually is.
Do you really think if someone competing in the hurdles thought it would be good to roll underneath the hurdles instead of over them, that they would not get any flack then you are extremely naive. I don't know how this is any less of a sport than ribbon gymnastics but this girl has single handily set back the sport internationally and what makes it 1000 times worse is that given her career, she should know better. That is why she is getting the disrespect, sadly she does deserve much of the criticism.
