I am a first-year student at Otago University here in New Zealand! This is a Day In My Life video at the University of Otago, down in Dunedin. I study First Year Health Sciences (HSFY). This is my very first youtube video (on this channel) and I hope you enjoyed it!

Haha I’m glad you found it helpful! I was there in 2019 and they were doing a bit of construction so hopefully they’ve changed it since then and made more improvements. I know you’ll enjoy it! :)

hello! great vid! whats university life like outside campus? i heard that dunedin is very country like and isnt a very loud place (aka i heard it was quite a rural and boring area compared to say auckland

Thank you! It’s very quite, much like any other smaller city in New Zealand. You won’t get the hustle and bustle culture of Auckland. I found it very peaceful there (outside of campus ofc). However it is a student city, so you will find students partying or having a good time in town. Would highly recommend. I probably enjoyed my time there more than Auckland tbh 😂 This is all anecdotal though, so take my opinion with a grain a salt.
