Arguably, Klaus Fuchs helped keep the peace by creating a balance of power. By helping the British and the Russians acquire the Atomic Bomb, he prevented the USA from being able to use the weapon with impunity. For this reason, I do not regard Klaus Fuchs to be a traitor.
Furthermore, the British started the Atomic Bomb Project before the Americans, in North Wales. It was called the Tube Alloys Project. Edward Teller, William Penney, Klaus Fuchs, and others were European.
We had a monopoly on the bomb from 1945 to 1949. Rather than use it, or even threaten it, the US and Britain conducted the Berlin Airlift when Stalin closed off access to Berlin. A very dangerous and expensive project. It was only when the Russians got the bomb that Stalin felt confident enough to sign off on Kim Il Sung's invasion of the South; leading to at least two million dead.
If you are on their side, they can do no wrong, yet Klaus Fuchs supported a regime that, in a way, was as bad or worse than the Nazis. This is being proven even today with the faded remnant of the Soviet Union's attack on the Ukraine.

I don't know where the person responsible for casting this film turned up the woman who is supposed to know about radio communications, but she doesn't have a clue how to hold a pair of needle-nosed pliers. Not only are we subjected to multiple scenes where she is clearly lost, but it seems NOBODY these days can find a true brass-pounder.
