    And that argument with Tom at the end was going to be the start of the Michael vs. Tom storyline of the final film until they lowballed Robert Duvall and got him to quit.

      @@JDubya2k yeah, according to Duvall himself in an interview he was only offered $1 million to do the movie while Pacino was offered $5 million despite them both having starring roles in the film. When Duvall tried to get more they wouldn’t give it to him, so he declined the role.

    Truthfully, it never dawned on me that Rocco betrayed Michael until these videos.
    My issue was Michael sending Rocco for that mission. I personally wouldn't place someone that close to me in harm's way unless it was absolutely necessary, because I would want my inner circle to remain intact, especially in Cosa Nostra. I concluded that Michael did it because it was absolutely necessary.
