I like this new line of ATV's BRP brought out. I'm a Can Am person anyway but I really like some of the features especially the built-in storage, bright lights, and USB chargers.
Hey ! Good job on the HD7 review, as a Grizzly owner (and lover haha) I wanted to see what Can Am would come to the table with and from what I see, I like it ! I think this will be very good competition for the Grizzly, And competition is good, Yamaha hasn't changed much with the Grizzly over the years and i'm not just talking about keeping the 700 Single when everyone is screaming for a Twin..... love all the storage options, and I dont mind the rear open box storage thing but I do wish they had a metal or composite rack that would go over it and maybe have a hinge so you can open it (like the old Honda Big Red trikes used to have) Of course everything is nice when it's new and only time will tell about build quality and reliability over the years, also the belt drive, it's hard to not go with Yamaha's Ultramatic, its just so smooth and you can get 20,000km on a belt.... I actually hope the HD7 takes some of the market away from Yamaha causing them to put some effort into a new Grizzly, there are still a lot of us who like ATV's, so it would be nice for them to revamp the Grizz like they did with the Rmax. Thanks for all the great content ! Cheers !
Thank you very much! I do hope Yamaha gets inspired!! Would love to see just a bit more effort into keeping the Grizzly competitive. That said, have a comparo of these two machines going online today. Stay tuned!!
Perfectly said! You share the same sentiment as me, I love Yamaha but couldn't buy another grizzly that was essentially the same as the last 4 that I bought lol. Fingers crossed this kind of direct competition will wake Yamaha up and get them to the drawing board. In the meantime, i purchased a 2023 outlander 850 xtp and the power and suspension is out of this world... if the cost of that is a 100$ belt that takes 30 mins to change every 3000kms, that's a happy trade off in my books!
Can Am really knocked it out of the park features wise on this new midsize line . I like the front cowling quick connect that reveals the vent tubes cvt intake and air filter all right there. And they’re a respectable attempt by a North American manufacturer at Japanese quality finally . Although the kingquad 750 reigns supreme for overall fit and finish and yes I’ve owned a grizzly as well . I’m back in big bore power now though in an Outlander 1000R lol.
@@dirttraxtv Yea I’m impressed . Just drag raced it against my DS 120hp Turbo X3 and it was able to stay 1 atv length ahead til 70mph before the X3 over took it. 20mph roll race however and even the baby turbo x3 walked it hard .
I was the same, but after the 708 debacle and 2 top ends being replaced it pushed me over the edge. I've had 5 grizzlies and love yamaha products but I recently purchased a 2023 outlander xtp 850 and its not comparable in any way. It's so much better. The power is intoxicating and the fox suspension customizable steering, engine braking and throttle is amazing. I hope this competition wakes yamaha up to start pushing the envelope a bit.
It's a larger displacement single, but the reason we focused on the Grizzly and this new Outy because the Grizz is probably the biggest seller in this category and the OL is targeting it.
"Most poweful sport utility ATV ever built"??? Last time I checked, 89 was less than 91. Also its 150+ lbs heavier than an Outlander XXC or Renegade. I get its wide, but I'd still bet an XXC would beat it in an enduro or track setting.

I’m a fan of them too. The oversized diffs, tubular frame, proper snorkels and vent lines. Can’t wait for the vtwins to go in the g3 frame.
Between you and these dirttrax guys you were the driving force pushing me toward can am, no looking back now!

Yup, I'd say that's big bore power!!

@@joekearney Weekend fun no doubt!! 🤘
Any word in aftermarket exhaust? Tuners? Maybe tough with the o2 sensor.
had grizzlies since 2002 and will never change
Awesome!

I think the scrambler "S" gets the better shocks.
I think you're correct.
@dirttraxtv I'm not sure why they did it that way
You mentioned these are the only two bikes in this class.
What about the Suzuki King Quad 750?

I think Can Am is making a mistake dropping the Vtwin for a single imo...nothing is as smooth and torqie as Can Am's Vtwins.
Still not a Yamaha!
😆

Some sxs are already touching 60k !!!! Absolutely not ....
Love the show and excellent production work but enough of that dub-step already!
