I use to work in a printing shop on Ossington Ave across from his home/studio. He actually came into the shop for some printing to be done. He is quite a nice guy.
Wasn't he something? I remember him regularly holding court at a corner pizza place on Ossington around the corner from where I lived on Shaw St. Can you believe what's become of old Ossington? More like O$$ington.
I recorded this song and video for Mr. Joe at Brock Sound Productions on Manning Avenue 28 years ago. I had the pleasure of working on numerous albums with Joe over a 50 year period. It miss him very much since his recent passing. We were close friends.
