Can you do a Video on SOXL... How high can it go?
Thank you I am a member on Patreon already. Is there any other membership or higher level you offer?
Is there anyway to see your portfolio?
@@trueblue4u952 hi there, are you on Discord? There's only one tier, and we can see you're a member, so Discord access is included. We discuss and have our entire holdings and watch list there.
I am up 453 per cent since 2020 when I bought It for reg and IRA acc't... I hit the Mother load I wish can say I was smart...sometimes the stars just align. over a year ago your vid on AVAGO only encouraged me to stand pat...THX
Very solid look at Broadcom.
I get the content focus moving forward...you gotta give the people what they want.
I'm mostly here for the segment/business analysis. Seems to me that it will help a lot when inevitably faced with "exit, hold or buy more" decisions.
Thank you for the feedback! Business competition and segmentation is our favorite part of the process.
You have one of the…if not, the best semiconductor related channel on RUclips. Although, I do appreciate the occasional video on non chip companies. I watched a previous video where you talked about ONON running. I looked further and decided to buy in a little bit. I’m up about 30%. Anyone reading this needs to pay attention! Their non chip videos will help start to diversify and help you to be see further opportunities. I do come here for the semiconductors but I like to sample other companies as well. Thank you
Very educational: corporate finance and semiconductor industry.
Good call on AVGO! I agree the semi industry is a bit frothy. I trimmed QCOM recently and might do that with TSM soon.
Glad you covered this, I was waiting for this moment. I came to the same conclusion, this is a wait and see if they can turn it around stock.😅
Thank you for all of your indepth research ! This has helped me choose stocks in my portfolio I may have missed ! Great work !
Thank you for the helpul updates!
Thanks for watching Julie!
I actually liked your Airbnb video and appreciate of you covering it because it was on my and was very informative.
That's great to hear Alex, glad you found it!
I've been waiting for this video. Thank You
Great content. A brilliant introduction to Broadcom
I liked your Airbnb video. Enjoy the rest of your vacation!
Thanks Paula!
I still love stock splits, even when I know the value doesn't change. It looks so nice in your account and is almost always an indicator the company is doing very well.
You totally answered my question.
I would like to see this channel as specialist not generalist 😊
Totally agree 👍. The specific semi coverage is one of the best in YT
Great video, thank you
Was in those stocks before they became the Magnificent 7, didn't have to rush and buy them.
Too bad. We like these companies. Keep them coming. 😂
Lol we have plenty more to say about chip stocks too
I'm curious whether you have any specific insights that their larger VMware customers are happy with the change, or is this observation just based on revenue increases? As enforced changes to their licensing model may well account for any rev increase, rather than due to people actually wanting to buy/spend more (new subs cost more than mainenance only renewals).
This change may well work out favourably for Broadcom/investors, but I'm not sure they have made any customers happy!
Hi Jonny, you may very well be correct, many customers may very well be unhappy, but willing to deal with the changes! However, Tan provided some good commentary on this topic in the conference call. If you know about the old VMware model, there were a lot of unhappy customers with that as well. Worth a read or listen!
I would love it if they didn't become GE but instead became a solid Berkshire. This is a great and timely video! Thanks for being the level-headed contrarians and your commitment to focusing on more timely buys in the future. I must admit, I've been buying what I see as value plays for the last 2 months. I love AVGO, but I'm not sleeping on ACLS and MCHP either! Be safe on the road!!
Keep digging for that value Shannon! MCHP and ACLS 💪🏽
Gold Jerry! GOLD
I love hearing about stocks that already skyrocketed. Chasing missed opportunities is my go-to strategy.
I feel like maybe you didn't watch the video. We mention that at the very beginning!
😂🎉
Hey :) Have you ever covered Soitec? It's a European manufacturer of SOI technologies, so it should fit your general topic of chip-related stocks.
We have covered Soitec, briefly in our Semi Industry Flow under materials and wafer providers, and have discussed over on our Discord server as well
Semiconductors are definitely the segment that anyone should heavily invest in for the long term. I have been holding massive NVDA (by far the largest), QCOM, and TSM for at least 5 years. I am updating my previous predictions because I was too conservative. Keep at least 25% and trade around your core positions. You will handily beat any index.
Updated predictions barring any major market crash, not an investment advice: 1) NVDA will be the largest company in the world later this year 2) TSM will be a $1 trillion company later this year 3) QCOM will triple in 3 years 4) major crypto will double from here within a year 5) Finally TSLA will be $2T company within 2 years, and the largest company in the world within 5 to 7 years and TSLA will be the first $10T company longer term
I'm on board with most of that. Not sold on tsla though.
Agree with your comment, not tesla @@jacqdanieles.
What do you think about NIO Chip that is 4 time faster than 4 Orin Nvdia chip?!
Next video. Where is AMD?
AMD is in the same place it has always been since the 1990s: playing catchup & lagging the leader 😉
Great video as always guys! The title of this video should be: "The next $1T stock". Enjoy your vacation guys.
Nooo way too clickbaity. These guys need to stand out against all the bad clickbaity content!
2300 pre split
Why is so hard for specialist to spot these companies before they actually run up to huge valuations ..to finally star t talking about them.?
Lol indeed, why is it so hard? Autumn 2022... ruclips.net/video/ZbV4VRmzqxo/видео.htmlsi=pWBlFFoOvsHNkDK8
I skipped the AirBnB video. You guys are deep diving into companies like pure storage, cyber security, and the semiconductor ecosystem. The last thing I want to hear about is AirBnB. You guys are so good at what you do, stick with tech.
Agreed. I saw something on Bloomberg that crystalized my thinking about the types of companies I'm interested in. Business to business type companies is where I'm putting my money these days. I tend to stay away from stocks like AirBnb, Uber, Delta Airlines, Tesla, etc... Yeah, I'm also really happy with the Pure Storage pick- thx again Kasey!
If you know better and think you are smarter than them. Why dont you start your own youtube channel? Otherwise stop complaining and stay in your lane.
lol same or maybe my algorithm just knew 😂
How is airbnb not tech?
It's just software bro, they don't own any real estate.
@@alexng4I don't see it as "complaining". It's no different than a customer offering feedback to a business.
I found value in the ABNB video, but I can see the other viewpoint too. After all, the channel is "Chip Stock Investor" & possibly the larger segment of the audience may be here for the specialty focus implied in the channel name.
First!!
🎉🎉🎉
Why is Caitlin Clarke talking stocks?
Broadcom is an awful company, I'm keeping away on principle.
You were suppose to buy in the 90's. 5 percent dividend.
Why?
@@enr3334 Patent trolls, awful management, terrible employers, bad customer support, they way they've dealt with their acquisitions ( basically killing off free versions of Vmware that people had been using for years and charging fortunes to those already using this software commercially ) Not a good company basically. More of a tech parasite than an innovator. Don't take my word for this though do your own due diligence.
How is Broadcom an AI play? What actual AI products do they have? Seems like Nvidia has the better network semiconductors and the GPU’s. Seems like broadband paints themselves as an AI company without any AI products.
They make NIC’s for severs, I think they will get more business because companies are buying more servers but I don’t see anything AI specific.
Hey Brian, ch CK out this video :ruclips.net/video/1rwlxNTyd_A/видео.html
It may answer your question!
