It's definitely been an "evolution" I remember when Aaron would apologize for the repeating, tunnel effect every time he brought the MV on air. But time and experimentation led to the elegant fix. 👍 (and of course the right hardware, with multiple M/E's!)

Agree 💯percent. The StreamDeck is like Aaron's personal A2 (a virtual A2, along with a whole host of things you would need to hire people to do _for_ you)

I have to admit it's an impressive setup, and my compliments to you on your knowledge to implement and control it all. My head would just explode! I really like your channel and content, some of which is really useful, especially in terms of idea generation, equipment overviews, etc. For me though, simplicity is key and trumps complexity every time. And yes, I appreciate thats all relative, so your simplicity could equate to my complexity :). I'll continue to enjoy your content but I'll remain firmly seated in my little corner of my less complicated universe, where StreamDecks aren't on steroids and I have nightmares finding the right button to hit lol Great channel, keep up the great work!!

Aaron - you mention OBS, but you also said you have an Ultrastudio in there. One of the things I'm trying to figure out is whether to lean into vMix or OBS - and why - and WHAT I need them for most that the ATEM software/hardware can't natively accomplish. If you have a minute, I'd love to hear more about your workflow and mixing-software-of-choice? Thanks much! - Jason

Basically I use OBS only for graphics, as a way to take a web page and output it over a dual SDI key+fill output into the switcher.

@@aaronpk Thanks much! And - how is that workflow superior to the ATEM Media Players or Ultrastudio? I'm unclear what you're gaining by using OBS in this way?
And- are you using OBS when you play VIDEOS? I've seen people using OBS and others using VLC. Thanks again :)
