      @@Usmanthemecanonaw there wasn’t much value in this fight I doubt there were many bets. That could be it too but in fights like this the crowd gets restless and bored. It happens all the time at fights. When people take time to go to fights and add in drinks and whatnot they want to see a show. Its different being there live and you have to consider big ppv cards like this one bring out a lot of casuals and they want a show. All that factors in to the Boos.

      I don’t think they were booing the fight itself, just the performance by Karen. Ennis stayed busy and landed some good shots but Karen just wanted to run and take it the distance. It was more directed at Karen himself.

    • @jmciver100
      @jmciver100 Год назад +16

      I agree! Good boxers train to stick and move. Hit and not get hit. Just trying to survive is different than understanding your strengths. Chukhadzhian managed his strength and foot movement well, especially considering the power of his opponent. He remained composed and hit back when he could. Even the commentator stated that Chukhadzhian had thrown nearly the same amount of punches as Ennis. Ennis just landed better and had pretty good defense. I don't see that as running to just survive. Give these professional fighters more credit. Him and his dad thought that they would just run straight through this guy but instead got humbled with a 12th round decision victory.

    What a nice surprise, this Chukhadzhian guy. In the line of Willie Pep, Nicolino Locche and Pernell Whitaker. Lightning reflexes, a few good combinations and very precise counters that PBC didn't show on replays: only Ennis's. His fluid movements are a joy to watch, and he just needs more power. I don't see any other boxer like him, right now. In 12 rounds against a top contender (even more a southpaw) he was never in trouble, and he slipped all the power punches. Chukhadzhian needed more punch output and he more than likely wins this fight. When he does throw he lands almost at will on Jaron which is a result from the impeccable movement. He’s no different than Loma when it comes to that except he didn’t throw nearly enough. That’s mentally exhausting to keep up with and you can see it on Ennis’s face. Great test for him to learn how to combat that style.

    People have to acknowledge that lateral movement, whether they think it is “running” or cowardly or boring, is a big part of boxing, and that their favorite fighters are going to have to deal with it at some point. If they aren’t ready to have the correct footwork to nullify the movement, and then they run into someone who’s exceptional at setting traps off their movement, your favorite fighter will either lose or look bad. There are clear examples of how to stop someone from moving so much. It is a technique unto itself that can be improved upon
