Cool story, masterfully delivered at an enjoyable pace, with rich, immersive detail at every scene and just the right scattering of inner thoughts; never a wasted minute. Excellent narrative with a magnificent and perfect narration. Thank you!
This is so damn good. Im actually world building and had a similar idea, but i used lab grown babies and similar ideas, but without all of the extra cloning. I really like this one you made. It's really good.
To those thinking current militaries work like that - they are wrong unless it's Russia. The military I served in would prefer to expend more ordnance. Money after all isn't truly counted and you can always print more but explain bad things to too many families can damage popular support. An Empire with access to cloning though can do that. A soldier becomes a piece of ordnance like a shell. Even they won't waste them in too large quantities but few squads for experiments is still manageable. In real war you don't waste resources without purpose.
I read your "Content Ownership" section and will point out that, unless you've filed for a copyright for every individual story, claiming protection without a filing is null and void. How do I know? I managed my company's intellectual property estate.
@dr.ryttmastarecctm6595 I'm not a lawyer, but 17 U.S.C. § 102(a) clearly states: 'Copyright protection subsists, in accordance with this title, in original works of authorship fixed in any tangible medium of expression, now known or later developed, from which they can be perceived, reproduced, or otherwise communicated, either directly or with the aid of a machine or device.' This means that as soon as a work is created and fixed in a tangible form (like a written document or a recorded audio file), it automatically receives copyright protection, even without formal registration.
❤❤ dang that's a damn good story but I don't consider that progress I like human flaw and makes us who we are great story thank you have a good night😊😊
Taking away the human element is something you only do when you want to use those enhanced humans against humanity itself. I'm world building and made a corporation similar to Umbrella but without the undead and stuff. It'll be a Scifi Opra and this Corporation started out good until they've made more and more progress and became hungry for more power and decided humanity was obsolet. They have hidden facilities throughout the Kuiper Belt they've been building for years secretly on government funds they were supposed to be using on the longevity of humans, so Sol will be surrounded when they are ready to attack. This will be a "Great Filter" level event from the Fermi Paradox and it's up to humanity to overcome their Great Filter.
Never let's me down for a new story. Even got the BF into it. And he only likes ghost 🥱 stuff.. getting him into science fiction.. the real horror, not silly ghosts, com'on we not 10, need sophisticated horror lol... love your writings and channel. My favorite for a while now on the creepypasta genre
I found mathers to be a very interesting character, his ability to speak without speaking. This story was a very thoughtful, interesting way of thinking about fate/destiny, and if you control your own life.
A fresh adventure for a fresh day. Thank you my friend. These stories are spectacular
@theaurlands4119 You are most welcome!
Dang the military is still screwed up in the future as it was back in the 80s nice to know sum things never change
War never changes
@@ModestestRUSTcame here to make that same comment! 😂

“I knew the intel had lied to us.” Hmmm. What a surprise.🙄 Excellent story. As always.
That was very dark
A sergeant with full confidence in the chain of command... that's fiction for you 😂.
Great story though 😁
