- Mantua (Mantova), Lombardy, Italy. Short cinematic travel video exploring some of the highlights of this historic UNESCO world heritage city including the old town, Palazzo Te, cathedral and Basilica of Sant'Andrea. Nearly every street in Mantua is full of amazing historic architecture so if you ever thought about visiting you should! This video was filmed on a very hazy winter day which eventually became very misty!

I live in Mantova, born and raised, and despite living in Mantua can be pretty boring, I have to recognize how beautiful it is.
It definitly is beautiful, it has so many amazing buildings and places to explore. I grew up in a historic city in England so I understand these types are places are not the most exciting to live in but at least they look good! Thanks for watching :)

Beautifully captured and edited! The music matches whit perfection! Lovely city whit amazing architecture would love to visit Italy one day . We been before in Chamonix France 🇫🇷 and we went through the tunnel to Italy 🇮🇹 for one day in Courmayeur and then back to France passing by La Thuile.

Barnyz If you go don’t miss going to "l’Aiguille du Midi " which is amazing, when I went up my wife was scared and stayed down while I was up there for 4 hours...with blue skies and no wind it was gorgeous!

@@Barnyz i lived in a small apartment near palazzo te with a host family and i went to isabella d'este. such a unique culture and me too, i wanna go back again. really felt like a piece of my heart was left there.

My mother was born there; well not really, she was born in Ostiglia a small village, a few miles to the east, but it belongs to the Province of Mantua.
Ostiglia looks very close to Mantua so perhaps she would have spent time in the city (I grew up in a small town near a bigger city in the UK and every weekend we would all jump on the bus and go into the city center for fun/shopping etc).
If you did not already i hope you get a chance to explore the area someday.
