Huge Bizkit fan. I really love his style and vibe. He does get some flack at times - I think unfairly, regarding his style and I guess the controls, balance and Biztortion. Which has been commented on and appear to have been an issue at some tournaments and performances. BUT you’ve got to respect and admire his creativity and performance - the shit he produces on the Mk I is unbelievable, I’ve said it before he absolutely rings the neck out of it and gets more out of that equipment than some people do on the Mk II. Also Robyn is special, everyone recognized all these tracks as they’re what he created for the SBX kickback battle (highly recommend you watch the SBX Beatbox tournament as well as the SBX Loopstation tournament - both very special and criminally underrated and slept on 👊) which is potentially why they’re more laid back tracks than battle tracks. Great reaction from you guys, love your commentary and chemistry 👌
I appreciate that you are both discussing the re-hashing of routines at the events and the comparison between a music single and wildcards etc, I've been trying to have that discussion for years now and people always say that it "shouldn't matter" but it clearly does. haha
You must watch bizkit vs frosty, if you reacted this way for this routines, i can't even imagine how you would react to the finals KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK no cap
Just reacting to your discussion at 21:55 min: Robin performed this routine in the KBB 2021 that happened a few weeks before GBB so he had no time to create new tracks. That's why he performed the same tracks. All tracks he performed in GBB 2021 were already performed in KBB 2021. The thing is, KBB was an online battle with recorded videos. So he could perform the tracks several times until the round is perfect. In GBB, he had to do everything in live so the performance is not the same in my opinion. Finally, thank you for the reacts, I love your analyses. ☺
Big-ups to the Indicator's passion to the beatbox life under the hood. It's fantastic to see that he knows so much insides such as 'tempo' button inside from the Bizkit's live stream. Bro, he's even singing the lyrics of Bizkit's round OMG (and this was released two years ago). Also love the storytelling from both of you, I dive into listening this and forget what I'm supposed to do during the watching/listening to you guys! :D Your discussion/debates/comparisons (Napom, Eminem) are enjoyable to hear. Big-ups to Anthony for inviting the Alien to the beatbox reactions. Now this comment is a petition to keep each reaction video duration approx 60 minutes!
Robin used the rounds he made for the SBX kickback battle, the first round of Robin is the round he used against KBA and the second round is the round he used against Frosty, you have to check the SBX kickback Loopstation battles, they’re amazing :)
Favorite loopstation battle of all time. Answering Bizkit's first round seemed impossible, but Robin did it with class. I love the respect from Bizkit at the start of Robin's final round sitting down on the stage to witness the Lion, and my favorite part of this battle when Robin opens his eyes and sees all the phone lights in the air during his final round. Bizkit absolutely KILLED it, but Robin damn sure held his own. 🫡👍🏻❤️
Originality is 100% a category everywhere and should be. It basically means do you sound new and have your own unique way of beatboxing and don’t sound like you’re directly copying someone or something else, and that’s pretty much it. Judges judge a beatbox round based only off that battle and the battles they’ve done that day but if you keep reusing rounds that the judges have heard before they won’t dock you points but in their head they might not be that impressed by the beat and you might lose because of it. That’s why in online beatboxing especially battles will have their main track ideas that they’re known for and constantly be remixing the drops to try to keep it fresh every time
Commenting on your question about Inkie: Inkie indeed competed at GBB 2019 and lost in the semifinals to NME because the judges didn't seem to know anything about his second device, so they thougth he cheated to create his sounds and voted INSTANTLY 5-0 for NME. That's why Inkie doesn't want to compete for now and just be a judge and do showcases. Maybe we'll see him again in the new producer category.
ANTHONY!!!! You have to react on german Betbox championship 2022. There is a lot young hype guys, you gonna love them, there is actually another looping level. Pls, if you see it.
Gbb21 was awful. robin should have won against bizkit with these rounds and frosty shouldn't have used his best round against rythmind which would bring him the 1st place.

46:12 Still one of my favorite GBB moments when Robyn looks up and sees the crowd swaying with the lights, his face and reaction are priceless 😊

Just to add to this comment, you need to watch and react to the SBX kickback tournament.
Highly recommended and hugely understated IMO… 👍

Both of Bizkit's final rounds are INSANE!

Robin only used old routines because he just finished the kickback battle only a couple weeks before gbb so he didn’t have time to make new stuff
I'd love to see Anthony tell us his thoughts on Napom rehashing routines to make it to 2nd at gbb23😅
Is this new meta for 2024 reacting to beatbox with podcast style
