Sounds like a great gig 😎 I remember seeing these girls at the Big Day Out in '95 and the bass guitar was so bassy that it was vibrating my eyes and couldn't focus 😵💫🤩😂 Was soooo impressive
I remember that the band was on an episode of The Adventures of Pete and Pete on Nickelodean and this song was played. Wow, Nickelodean was offbeat and had a lot of shows that actually appealed to the quirky peeps back then.
Haven't heard this song in years! Such a fun time in music. 😌 Nostalgia kicks in hard hearing Luscious Jackson. Driving cross country all the time with a Fever In Fever Out cassette among others as the soundtrack through the states. Such an awesome group. 💙
Luscious Jackson, Lens and The New Radicals were the cutting edge NYC bands of the 90s. Great sound with that 70s theme they could cleverly drop in from time to time.
Hey, never noticed that they got most of the Clueless cast in the video. I guess Alicia Silverstone was filming yet another Aerosmith video that day. Awesome band, awesome song.
The song is part of the 1995 movie and in that year Silverstone had already left behind everything related to Aerosmith since that was in 1994 this song is from 1995 Clueless soundtrack
I forgot about this video. It is a great one, too. My brother and I went to the Palace, where the Detroit Pistons used to play their home games, to see Luscious Jackson who opened for R.E.M. and, of course, R.E.M. On our way over there, my brother's white pickup truck got a flat or blown-out tire and delayed us. We ended up missing the whole Luscious Jackson set, but we saw almost all of R.E.M.'s. I wish that I would have gotten to see you.
Oh my goodness. CLUELESS is one of my favorite movies of all time but I had no idea this was a on the soundtrack or that there was even a music video(iconic in it's own right). I never made the association because they basically use the chorus in the scene in the movie. Must got rewatch Clueless now! RIP Vivian and Brittany Murphy!
I turned 30 last month. i miss the 90s so much I grew up with Pete and pete. artie, endless mike, those were the best years. like 1993 to 97. kindergarten through fourth grade. super nes, Nickelodeon, USA cartoon express. take me back
Jill is as always, Super Dope🤟 I First learned about y'all from watching The Adventures Of Pete An Pete. I really wish y'all would consider touring again. I'll bring my daughter. I last saw LJ at The Strand in Providence in 96

@Emgee78 i don't remember that well, but they played another song on the same episode, "pete's first dance" (or something like that).. do you know the name of it?.. i think there is a video here on youtube of the complete episode... i really miss this show, i wish they came up with the season 3 on dvd...
This, Deep Shag and Naked Eye were some of my main jams from the 90’s. Rest easy, Vivian.
Word. 59 is no age to go but she left behind some great work
@@Jack_Rivet Indeed, a solid legacy.
@@PhenomenalCat Veruca Salt
Vivian was my favorite. Rest easy.
I loved this band so much ❤️ and still do!! SO unappreciated
I remember watching Luscious Jackson play at the 40 Watt club (Athens, GA) back in the mid 90s. The Eels opened up for them. What an incredible show!
40 Watt! I was in grad school at UGA then. Miss those days.
Sounds like a great gig 😎

She passed away
This song randomly popped into my head a week ago and I now listen to it at least 3 times a day now.
Luscious Jackson, Lens and The New Radicals were the cutting edge NYC bands of the 90s. Great sound with that 70s theme they could cleverly drop in from time to time.

Luscious Jackson and The Breeders over and over again please.
And over again!

When you have the coolest drummer and the most modern poet songwriter, you have the makings of a movement.
Yeah and I never knew Kate Schellenbach was originally part of the Beastie Boys.

Pete and Pete....Dance Fever
yep
I played this album ALOT!!! 💃🕴️🕺👯🤸
Me too! The nostalgia lately has been real!
Tight band and one of the best drummers in showbiz!
If I met a girl that loved Luscious Jackson, our second date would end at Zales Jewelry.
based
Lol

Here I am...
I love these ladies! Awesome groove!!
Some cool 70's disco vibes to this song, it should have been a major hit.

So sad to learn he band keyboardist passed away today so sad great loss RIP 🙏
Bring back the 90's PLEASE!!!
This is the best song on the "Clueless" soundtrack!
love the way Jill sings "owwwwwwwwwah" groovy
Que rolon la verdad no recordaba co.o se llamaba pero me hizo recordar que MTV transmitía vídeos musicales
This song moves me to this day - Top notch!
Still here!
ABSOLUTELY love this song!!!!!
This band makes cool music.
RIP Vivian! Also, I don't dance under any circumstances, but I might give in to Gabby Glaser's entreaties.
They're the most luscious Jacksons I ever saw
I just finished watching the movie & heard this song love it classic
RIP Vivian.
"here I come
you can't stop me now
I will be the one
who keeps you around
yeah yeah ow
peace and loving everywhere"
Support your local roller derby team and music like L. Jackson.
Still sounds Dope!!!
yea! sure!
RIP Vivian Trimble 😥
ルシャスのこのアルバムは最高
センスの塊みたいな素敵な音楽
So many great female musicians back in the day
ive been looking sooo long for this song so i just googled the lyrics and here it is!!
NOLA Queen. Loved this song
The drummer for Luscious Jackson was the original drummer for The Beastie Boys.
Oh, 90's........PLEASE come back!
i hear a little Dee-Lite in this song
ya think?
Yes, too much.
While watching the movie i thought it was a Dee Lite song
I was thinking the same thing. "Here" to me, sounds a bit like a cross between "Groove is in the Heart and "Supermodel (You Better Work)" by RuPaul.
So fudgin happy I randomly remembered this song!!!
This was my shit back int he summer of '95! I still love Clueless.
Saw that movie about 3 times in the theater
from Clueless ? I worked graveyard 1994-96 missed out on a lot not everything but a lot
great ! I remember this. I had the album. cd cost $36 back then.
Luscious Jackson very great song
use to play the Fever in Fever out CD all the time lol

The funk is strong with this team.
Takes me back to Greenwood High school in the mid 90’s, playing Soccer, smoking weed, and cruising in my 5.0. Best times of my life.
Love this group & song
I worship you guys
I love that all the ladies from thr movie are in this great video
RIP Vivian Trimble
Default Luscious Jackson lyric for entire catalog: "Yeah, yeah"
Jill Cunniff is so cute in this video!
I miss the 90s. The beat sounds a lot like an early Neptunes produced track.
This mix high exellent ! !.
RIP Vivian

The way Christian was dancing when this song was playing.....😂😂😂😂
scrolling through your playlist i'm a little disappointed. You might want to take note from mine
They showed me to respect woman thank you !
"Does that mean you're too broken-hearted to dance?"
"I think I can handle it..."
Lol, this was the song that Christian was jamming too
I'm willing to bet I love Luscious Jackson more than any other black, heterosexual man on the planet 😄
The way the girl at the keyboards dances is amazing
RIP Vivian Trimble
She's just moving her hip left to right slowly Lol
Pete & Pete took me here.
This song's better than watching "Clueless." I liked it better on "Pete & Pete."
This song reminds me of friday evening watching tv in the 90s.
Yes, that was a good show Pete and Pete
Thanks Pete and Pete!
yeah, i remember pete & pete and that song too. was on a school party.
Luscious jackson full album

OK, so nobody roller skates in that movie... But this song, video, and Clueless were, like, soooo awesum! Yeah yeah, owwww!
Just finished watching clueless 😂🥰🥰

the song they played in the dancing episode from pete and pete
"Get on the floor, let's dance some more! Get on the floor let's dance some more!"
i was ripping someones VHS home video and this song was playing in the background. so i used shazam and found this :P
classic...
12 people didn't want to get on the floor and get some more.
Only a few perfect songs in the world. This is one. [place smiley face emoji here]
