If JJ Thomson needed the ray middle then why did he applied magnetic and electric field ?because even before applying field he got the ray middle.

Agar electric field ko hm magnetic field se replace kr de to electron ki deflection kiski tarf hogi........ because in case of electric field we can see that the electron was deflected towards bthe + ve plate....... please solvey query immediately

how does these electrons pass without any conducting medium
Because they attract towards anode....
Akhil its having gas with low pressure which is conducive
At such low pressure...the gas gets ionized which helps in conduction
Sir in this electric field have current in it
