Hello doctor! Amazing video. Loved every bit of it. I had a question, when did u start doing mcq practice? I am in second half of final year, and I have been thinking of doing mcq from the start of the internship along with the notes revision, would that be ok?
@@210ritzy7 I started doing mcq during 3rd yr but mainly during internship only. It's fine if you start during internship but if possible you can do atleast some bits of it now if you have time specially for topics you find difficult to remember , mcqs can act like doing active recall in that case. So do as time permits because you will be having university exams soon. But remember you would have to put extra efforts during internship bcoz marrow q bank is quiet extensive. And thank you so much for review. So glad that it helped you..
Another question, did u watch the rr vids of marrow during ur internship or u only read the notes? And did u utilise any of ur marrow notes u made during mbbs prof years?
@@210ritzy7 for 3rd and final yr subjects for which i had already seen marrow main videos during their respective years, I directly read rr notes and for 1st and 2nd yr subjects I used videos along with notes. Initially I started using main notes during my internship but they are a lot and you won't be able to finish them and since I had already watched most of subjects from main videos during mbbs so my concepts were clear and rr notes and videos were enough. So basically I didn't use main notes during internship. Only if you stuck at some concept and are not able to understand then you can sometimes review main notes or video
@@drarshiya5275 no I didn't solve whole q bank and I feel there is no point solving whole q bank because you wont remember anything then. So initially I used to solve modules from topics which I found difficult to learn or understand or I was making more mistakes in. During later part I solved custom modules with hashtags of recent neet aiims ibq recent updates and sometimes clinicals. For gt I used to give 1 gt approx every 14 days and in marrow also it's similar like you have 2 gts in a month mostly. So I gave almost all gts on marrow for approx 1 year during internship. I just skipped giving gts for 1 month before exam fo avoid any stress and self judgements. I used to analyse gt within a week like 20-30 qs everyday while I was tired after studying and I didn't made a wrong copy as such but instead I made a telegram/whatsapp group on which I used to share ss of the question with detail I did wrong It is very important to solve mcqs regularly like atleast 50-100 daily from atleast 2 months before exam giving gts is optional in later part of your preparation unless you have problem sitting for 3 hrs at stretch Also you can see this video of mine in which i have explained all of this in more detail ruclips.net/video/DmKow-pVisc/видео.htmlsi=9Ks7nzaMBX-2b4t7
Maam I have done only psm FMT ent ophthalmology in 3rd year…Can you suggest by which month should I complete final year subjects during 4th year which is from march 2025 till feb 2026
@@aishaaa_sayed okay, you still have some months left before you enter your final yr so try to atleast watch videos and annotate notes of some lengthy subjects like medicine, Surgery and if possible obgy also before entering final yr. Then when you enter final yr try to complete watching videos of remaining final yr subjects and atleast one read of notes within first 3 months like upto may or June 2025. Then from June/july onwards you can start revising. So if you have NEXT at the end of your final yr then do read once your 1st and 2nd yr subjects in next 2 months and later keep revising your final and pre final subjects which will come in NEXT and if there is no NEXT then make sure to thoroughly revise and do lots of mcqs of your final yr subjects so you will be done with your final yr i.e. 9 subjects already before start of your internship. Also you won't be able to remember much in your first read of notes or watching videos which is perfectly normal, you will start remembering things once you revise them twice or thrice, so don't be disheartened early.
@@DrRaniMehtani Thanks a lot for your reply, yes maam I have completed some topics from surgery, obgy and paeds from main videos…but not as a subject entirely completed….and I have only 2 months left for 3rd finals. So Maam you are saying that by June 2025 I’ll have to complete all main videos of final year subjects? Is this called first reading?
@@aishaaa_sayed yes watch videos and after watching once give read of the notes you made or ready made notes you have along with it. That will be your 1st read Set target of June so that even if missed a bit you will be done by mid july Also if you have exams in 2 months you can now focus on 3rd yr subjects and try to do mcqs of those subjects along so that you will be almost done with these 4 subjects for neet pg also.
