I think it was mostly because sometimes I’d get overexcited and forget to ask since I’ve never needed to before… but I’ve gotten a lot better at respecting boundaries and keeping to myself! It’s a bit embarrassing how much I just hug myself so I don’t get too overexcited… but whatever makes my friends more comfortable!

I just found your channel and this is perfect for me cause I recently (I’m homeschooled and I’m now going to extra curricular‘s) realized that hugging your friends a lot is weird and not everyone understands that some people cant communicate well so they use physical touch to display feelings… even anger or sadness and they’re often seen as dramatic or to emotional or to touchy… anywho thank you for the awesome content!

I grew up in a very touchy family. And physical affection is a big love language for me. But a lot of my friends didn’t grow up the same. My friend Pax hates physical touch (kinda) but I only learned that recently since we had been childhood friends and only regained contact after meeting at the co-op… I’ve made a few friends who are slightly more comfortable but not much. I think it was mostly because sometimes I’d get overexcited and forget to ask since I’ve never needed to before… but I’ve gotten a lot better at respecting boundaries and keeping to myself! It’s a bit embarrassing how much I just hug myself so I don’t get too overexcited… but whatever makes my friends more comfortable!
The fact he asked has me sent to the moon! I had a lot of issues with my past relationships with then not really caring for my thoughts!! He so sweet!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!
