Thomas Mesa is between cellos right now. He picked this instrument up a few days ago and is testing it out for the first time. Is this 18th Century Venetian Gigli the instrument of his dreams? Will he spend the rest of his musical life with this cello??

How do you travel with a cello on an airplane? So valuable, do you book its own seat beside you?
