Don't worry about people who say you are too happy. I don't think your husband would want you to be sad. Remember the happy things. I hope you will make a video cleaning the plants. It's interesting to watch
We love ur videos. U had me laughing 2,3 times today and i know how tough this phase is for u. 🤗. It was so sweet to see pedro eating up the sticky rice and then resting on ur boot. Some succulents are so pretty now.
We're getting more cold weather and I thinks they'll just get better. Thanks for watching Swati and really glad that you enjoyed then video. Have a wonderful evening! 🥰
Thank you, Annie. I'm gla you enjoyed the video. Though it may hurt now, I know in my heart that God has a plan for us all. Take care and have a lovely evening.🥰
You get immune to certain conditions and emotions because of living through them for years and years and people who are blessed with happiness usually can't understand that
Liz, you are my kind of girl, you make me cry my eyes out on your last video, and on this video you make me laugh at 2am in the morning. I have work tomorrow, I love you and and I believe God has something good for you ❤❤❤
i totally get why you love succulents som much the first time i started to grow my own succulent i too fell in love and since then i only grow succulents like u ❤
Oh Liz you’re not alone there about your face giving a lie away. That’s me too.! 🤣 Thank you for another interesting video into your life. In my 20’s I did something bold & dressed up brightly for my grandfather’s funeral because my reasoning was that he had lived such a long & good life and we should be happy about it. It didn’t go down well with most of the family who were all wearing black. 😬Everyone grieves differently and people can definitely get weird about it. Glad to hear you singing and enjoying your succulents. You’re a very strong lady & an inspiring gardener. xo
😂🤣You just made me laugh, Susan. Thank you. I'm saving this story for a video but after you shared your story, I gotta share with you. 😊 I attended a wake once with Hubby, and I was chatting with the grandaughter of the person who passed. We were laughing because of funny stories she told me about her grandfather. On the drive home.... I got given an earful from Hubby for being insensitive by laughing and carrying on as If I was at a birthday party.🤣 According to him, I'm supposed to act solemn. We all have different ways in dealing with grief and sadly for some, they belive that their way is the only way. Have agreat day! 🥰
lol Liz you make me laugh with the husband and wife interaction 😂 I can’t lie you can tell with my face expression 😮 lol I do try to not to show my emotions 😊I love you Liz ❤
Hi Liz I love your stories 😊 ❤ the plant that’s very pink and looks like banana with little yellow flowers is beautiful.I can keep a very straight face people never can tell .😵💫
I wish to be like you, Louise. I tried lying to someone a few days ago and I slipped. Now the person is really upset with me. 🤣 No matter. He'll get over it, I hope... Thanks for watching. 🥰
Hi Liz. After your husband died i was glad you had Pedro to help you through it, but when i found out he passes as well i was really sad 😢. Thank God for making u such a lovely and strong person. You will pull through by His grace and your beautiful succulents will definately be a help as well. Take care ❤ ❤
Hello Liz, some cultures wear white, not black. We went to a funeral and the lady asked specifically that her family and friends wore any colour but black. Her favourite colour was Pink/purple so all the ladies came in Barbie pink. The world is changing and so the uncle was just ahead of his time. You are not just a happy soul but vibrant and electric. You’re a spark of joy and hilarious! That’s truly what this life’s about. With love do we know grief. You’re very spiritual so you sense we all meetup again. In truth Pedro and your hubby are right beside you. Your hubby is watching you and rolling his eyes. You had me laughing with “tight-arse”. Liz, your love for rocks, crystals and succulents is astounding and in spiritual terms they say it’s “grounding “. Truly connecting with Mother Earth that’s sentient. Stay wonderfully you. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
My Chinese culture, we wear white too with just a black ribbon on the chest. Hubby and I had an extensive talk years before he pass on what I'll do with my videos. He said that I could do whatever I want when he's gone. He knows I always tell the truth. But while editing this video, he still was hanging around my back(freezing cold) on some juicy parts that I've removed. 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for watching, Evelyn and have a lovely evening. 🥰
I love your videos and all the things you say, and your plants. I have funny things I say too and a lot of women in my life say little funny things and are just so delightful. I'm sorry for your losses woth your budgy and you husband. I'm single and don't have pets right now but I hope I can get married and have a love like yours was! Its ok to be sad, its ok to be happy. You're wonderful! Also I watched a video of yours where you ate kimchi and I got my kimchi out of the fridge and ate it, I love it! So delicious.
I got into succulents a few years ago bc they are so beautiful, like a flower always in bloom.ive been subscribed a few years now.I live in south Louisiana it seems I definitely don't get the selections you do yours are so beautiful and colorful. because I live in such a hot humid place I go through a lot with mine .the bugs are always a problem but I keep trying, thankyou for your videos
Sorry to hear about your succulents growing condition, but glad that you don't give up. My succulents gives me so much pleasure, especially when they survive. I really believe that to grow them in hot humid places, the substrate has to be more rocky, like my ADVANCE SOIL MIX. Wishing you all the very best. Take care. 🥰

Rofl - love the voice edits :p I have to say, i work hard on being brutally honest as much as possible - lies seem too tricky to keep up with! Please be sure to make time to allow for grieving when you are able; but it is lovely to see how the plant work is keeping you in good moods!
For lies, I usually say one thing that’s the truth and one that’s a lie together. Like if someone asks “does this look good?” I’ll say “sure, but this over here looks even better I think”😂
Hi Liz. You’re definitely an inspiration, lying or not lying, your cheerful mood is great and will help many of us to cope too with hard times. Question about watering: it’s winter for you and you said it will frost at night, are the plants very very dry? Do they really need to be watered with the frost coming? What about the opposite? We’re having 100F (I think abut 38C), my succulents dry out very quickly, when should I water them or how often? Thanks again for your videos …. Tere (in VA, USA)
Autumn is the best time to water succulents to get ready for winter. As GENERAL RULE OF THUMB....Water less but more. This means water less often but make sure that the soil in the pots are saturated(no dry spots). Thanks for watching and Have awonderful day. 🥰
Hi Liz, me again I have to tell you all your plants are gorgeous especially those so full…. You’re great…. Sorry about those on the top shelf , it happens ….. Tere
Liz you should look at adopting an older pet, being alone is going to drive you mad. Lots of old kitties, doggies, & birds need a loving home. Good luck.

Hi Liz! I just wanted to say, I'm sorry about Baby P and your husband. It's so good to hear your upbeat spirit. What kind of top dressing can I use? I love the really colorful rocks that go into a fish tank. Would that kill my succulent?
The only rocks for top dressing I find that kill succulents are the white calcite. They leave a powdery residue on your hand when handling. As long as they're not too small(3 to 6mm), is what I prefer to use for air circulation. Thanks for watching and have agreat day! 🥰
I don't know if you checked Pedro's crop, but my budgie has been bobbing his head abnormally & I felt something small & hard in his crop. I hope it's something they can flush or pluck out without surgery
I don't know anything about raising budgies but I know Pedro. No crop for him and he's an excellent regurgitator due to the rocks and minerals that I fed him.
