I went to dermatologist in India and in Finland. They both confirmed it was an allergy reaction to mehndi. Unfortunately, too common, according to Indian dermatologist. 🙏‼️
ohh. actually the allergic reaction you got is due to the non-organic mehndi powder used by the artist. In fact, artist must have paid more to give better experience (with some additional chemicals, that may cause reaction to some skins). but otherwise, natural organic mehndi should not have any such allergic reaction at all. may be in a rare case, otherwise mehndi is generally very mild in nature to not cause any skin issues. saying this because all these allergic reactions we see these days, were absolutely unheard of in spite of all mass applications throughout all the marriages. nothing wrong with your skin, it's just the mehndi powder. If you do further research online, you may find many brands/sources that will give you zero reaction and you will be able to enjoy the mehndi. and next time, you can just get a tiny dot of mehndi to test it first. and even better to discuss with the artist/host about skin sensitive mehndi and they should take care of the rest. nice video. thanks for sharing.
