Would the glue get sweat through or anything like that? If I do end up getting one are there certain things i should steer away from? I have contest season coming up in a couple of months and I'd like to figure this hair thing out so i can (hopefully) place in my solo and look good doing so💜(of course im doing my own research but id like to ask personally) thank you^^
Hi! First I just want to say I'm no expert on wigs lol. But I have been wearing them for a little over a year now so I can give some advice/tips on what I've been doing and/or seen a lot of other ppl do...one thing I can say is using Got2be is not the best option for dancing with a wig. I assume you have to do a lot and you want to make sure you are secure no matter what. I would suggest a glue like bold hold active or ghost bond. Many wig stylists even have their own line of wig glue so if you get your wig installed you can ask them about theirs. Another thing is if you are looking to put the wig in a high ponytail, a 360 wig is the way to go, your wig would be secure all over. Lastly, HD lace wigs are the most realistic(and expensive smh) but it's worth it if you'll be front and center for your solo! p.s. I know the 4b/4c hair chronicles, our hair isn't quite appreciated or accepted yet but regardless I hope everything works out!
Girl honestly I'd just get some knotless braids. Wigs are harder to take care of in comparison. Woc to woc, and in my opinion as a stylist and "wig wearer", sweat tends to make your face lift ( depending on glue, but prolly will do it regardless) braids will deffly be easier! And the coach can't say you can't wear braids
For your braiding pattern you could make a braid going down the side of your face instead of having all cornrolls going back. Then you could just see the wig to the braids you made on the side of your head. I hope that makes sense
Is there a video that's shows and teaches how to bleach and pluck . I've never worn and lace front wig and I got very 1st one . I've been wearing Headband Wigs . I just started to wear Wigs at all last year, and I don't want to harm or mess up this new wig. Thank you
It will get stiff if you dont clean the lace off often. I reapply mine everyday until after maybe the 3rd time I just clean the lace with alcohol and its good as new

I prefer closures just because i feel like it’s not not as damaging to my natural edges and they’re also more comfortable to me and easier to install. I’m also still learning how to install frontals but even when I do I don’t see myself wearing them that often, hope this helped 💕

I just got my first wig installed, it’s a closure. My ears hurt because they are being pushed outward by the wig so I have to put the tips of my ears under the wig. What should I do?

No problem! And if the stylist uses a wateproof glue then I recommend 91% alcohol but if its just got 2b glue or a gel then just water is fine! ❤️
