Thank you for these videos bro. It's one thing to look at a picture and copy it but seeing a veteran walk you thru the steps that you have mastered is priceless insight

I hope to start drawing more soon. I've always wanted to learn but I've never given myself the chance nor have I taken this with any level of seriousness. I love your videos and this art style. Old time-y illustrations are just so classy and timeless I find. I absolutely love it.

Listen! Like seriously! Before I found out about your channel -I thought that the main idea of old school is to make it look as ugly and not proportional as possible, but here...just Wow! This looks amazing! I am stunned by your ability to explain drawing using all these simple shapes and techniques. Subscribed and hope to see many many more great videos from u!

Thanks for such thorough tutorials! I just recently started playing with markers instead of paints, and your videos have been really helpful. Quick question- what type of pencil do you use for the white highlighting? I've been using a white prismacolor pencil, but can't seem to get the white as clean as yours looks....

Anyone got tips for fixing squint lines? When I try to draw with a sharpie, it tends to jolt on it's own, even if my hand motion is clean, it's like it gets caught on the paper if that makes any sense? If anyone could help, thanks!
