V is for Vino New Videos Every Friday!
🍷 Until Next Wine 🍷
This is easily one of the best videos on wine available to newcomers. This video is much more than “buy this wine or that that.” It teaches you what to look out for, styles to look for you might’ve looked past, and explains WHY. Seriously quality content vino, these videos should be top tier by now, but can ensure you they’ll catch on eventually.
Thank you! Yes, my goal was to give some principles people can take an apply anywhere! Thanks for the all the support. And yes, I think if we keep posting we'll keep growing! I hope so anyway!
Great video. Good inf. Thanks for sharing.
I can generally agree on grocery stores, but I'm into Total Wine and sometimes Costco.
Yes, I agree. While I love small wine shops, I'm ok with A Total Wine or BevMo or Binnys, especially if you need something specific!
At 02:44 with FX Pichler and Schloss Gobelsburg one can see 2 amazing Austrian wineries which you would probably never find in an US supermarket. This kind of really selected products is a huge benefit. Otherwise you would only taste wines in the same sphere.
100%!!
So glad to see these kinds of videos from you! Very very useful!
Thanks Laddie! More on the way!!
Very helpful. 👍
These videos are amazing. And extremely useful. Thanks!
Of course!
Excellent video. I learned a lot, and reinforced some knowledge I already have. Thank you. Well Done!
Thanks Bob! Glad it helped! More vids on the way!

This is amazing, thank you for sharing!
Thank you!! 😃
Another excellent video, Vince! I do often like to try varietals I haven't tried before. We recently picked up a bottle of Chinuri from Georgia (the country) at Silverlake Wine (you might know the place) after having dinner across the street. We told one of the girls working there that we were looking for something different. She was super helpful with suggestions and eventually lead us to the Chinuri. We haven't tried it yet, but we're looking forward to it! It is always better to go into a store like that because, as you said, the staff know their stuff and you'll always come out with something good and fun.
Love Silverlake wine! And yes, you’ve got the 100% right idea. If there’s a small shop nearby, I’m absolutely going there first!!
I’m a native Californian from the SF Bay Area and very much enjoy (and learn) your videos, particularly your California wine region episodes but also really like your European, such as your Prosecco, episode! Have you considered a Southern latitude wines series? South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Tasmania? Keep up the good work and thank you!
Thank you so much! Love NorCal, lived in SoCal for 10 years and got to visit quite often! And absolutely! So season 4 (7 episodes coming in June) is mostly Europe, but we’re planning season 5 and I’m talking to South Africa and Chile! Hoping we can make one or both happen! Australia and NZ on the list too, but they’ve been tougher to plan, and super strict with COVID. Hoping soon though!
Nice , entertaining but fully informative, ❤ cheers
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great tip!
Thanks for watching!
Can you also talk about wine glasses and the difference along with quality. 😊🌻
Oh man, do I have a video for you!! In our “Travel Portugal” episode (we released last week) head to our “Nerd Lab” section near the end! I talk all about glasses!!!
