I have never left a comment after watching Homeworthy. However, l was so moved by the lack of pretension emanating from this woman and apartment that I had to mention that l think that it was the best Homeworthy that I have watched, and I loved the soul of her apartment. Great!
I don't usually comment but this lady and her apartment are the definition of unique and creative. A "maker" in action in every part of her life. Lovely to see.
This lady is one of the few who sounds and looks authentic, genuine, no fuss about her things, no nonsense pretensions way of present herself and her home, refreshing! Love it!
I enjoy NYC apartment tours way more than the big estates because the apartment dwellers have to use every item and make multiple use of many items and keep the apartment looking welcoming and comfortable. Enjoyed this video.
Lovin the apartment tours and enjoy smaller homes in other towns, too. Like Margo Roth's regular home in Winston-Salem, NC. Being on Homeworthy YT is such an honor for anyone.
Kiera's individuality and utter lack of interest in trends or impressing viewers with expensive furnishings are an inspiration. Spaces like hers--unpredictable, personal, meaningful--are my favorites on Homeworthy.
What I absolutely love about this lady is her storytelling through her objects in her home. As a former props designer and manager, I really appreciate her creativity and dedication to creating objects that are meant for function and for production purposes. This lady really warms my heart by reminding me of my passion for designing and creating props. The memories from wandering through many antique shops, consignment type stores, and shopping for unique items for professional theatrical plays. I actually did this prior to having the luxury to order online items. So, every single item that I created I would spend so much time on the tiny details that work with stage lighting and following the details of the director’s insight for the accurate portrayal of items that would be seen from a variety of perspectives. A Black box theatre vs a large professional theatre with a variety of different audience perspectives. Anyway, sorry for rambling, this lady just inspired me to look back at the items I still have in my attic collection. Love this lady and her creativity. ❤
She is so cool! Love her philosophy to decorating, “if I can’t afford, I make it! “ Her place totally reflects her! Just love how much she treasures her personal objects, from her mother’s art work to found objects in the park! 💚
I love people like this cool lady! Truly creative, super down to earth, not trying to show off, just genuinely eager to share her space and her wonderful creativity with us all. This is why I love Homeworthy!
This woman and her home were a breath of fresh air! Both so genuine and unaffected, yet unique and special. Thank you for sharing your calm space of respite from the city. Just lovely!
This lovely lady has created the epitome of simplicity, with a menagerie of whimsey and easy pops of color... That's both easy on the eye and creatively orchestrated!!! Eclectic and curated decors always have a warm and welcoming ambiance about them 😊
I LOVE this place! It’s just gorgeous and everything has personal meaning. Also, I’m so glad she used the word “tableau” for her small spatial arrangements. I hear people on RUclips calling them “vignettes” or “moments,” which relate to time, not space, which irks me. As a prop stylist, she knows the right terms. Her home makes me want to get back to my own arts and crafts.
Thank you for showing us your home. One of the very few Homeworthy videos that I watched all the way through. This lady is actually interesting, authentic and unrehearsed in what she shared. Thanks again
First comment for this channel... just can't express how much I love this beautiful home, and the creative, joyful homeowner. WOW!!! Best episode ever; will inspire me to be as free and creative as possible in my own home. It was all about personal expression and not $. Thank you!
OMG...I love this woman. What a charming home. Can I say, I LOVE vintage typing tables. They are marvelous little things. I buy them whenever I find them. They all get spray painted with some punchy color, gloss preferred. And they are primarily plant stands. I use them inside and out. Sadly they are getting harder to find. I've sold a few and given some away and I had to downsize a while back so I only have 2 left. But I am always on the hunt. AND, I too make a lot of paper mache. It is often thought of as a child's craft but really it is so versatile. You can make anything look amazing when it's covered with paper mache and a bit of paint. Homeworthy, I would love to see more of this kind of home. Not designer, lived in, made with love, comfortable and adapted to the needs of the owner. I am definitely starting a trash alphabet!
I live in Brazil and started watching the channel a little over a month ago because there is no more news on Pinterest and I wanted to find new ideas to renovate my apartment. In that 1 month I saw houses full of rooms to the point of not even showing everything 😂, a dining room, a conversation room, a coffee room, a room to be alone, etc. people worried about works of art and attached to floors, colors and kitchens that Never even used, too many dishes. I think Kiara's house is synonymous with a woman who seeks an alternative because she cannot have the resources to get what you want and She didn't limit herself, she used her creativity to produce the vase, the bowl, etc. and that makes her happy, she reuses materials she finds in the trash and that doesn't make her feel any less happy, she is proud of her DIYs. Very creative. Great life lesson, it would be great to see more alternative houses like Kiara's or famous artists on the channel.😍🇧🇷
What a refreshing video! She is real and I can relate to her style. No trends here! No exclusive style. Her home reflects HER! More videos like this please!! Also, the Garden Designer's home! Colors, thrift finds and greenery!!
She is so precious. Her home is so unique. Thank you so much for doing a video of her home. Just love the way she displays everything. Alot of people would not display their loved one's works of art. Her mother's artwork is beautiful, along with the handcrafted things she made.
You bet they are! I do not reside in New York City anymore, but I always visit any sites that feature designs by New Yorkers, especially if they are do it yourself decorators like Kiera. Her house tour was magnificent
Like the others, i have to say her style is wonderful, unique, just authentic. There are so many interiours you see, that look like a picture in a catalouge. A collection of style, stylish items presented. But this appartment is a reflection of Life, a place where a person lives. And that ist PURE STYLE 😃👍 Greetings from Germany alex 🤗
My favorate pieces in your New York Brownston are the paper mashia vase and the retro lamp in your bedroom. That is amazing you have been there so long. Thanks for sharing your Abode.
Fantastic. I can see why that landlord wanted you! You seem so down to earth, grounded...well...normal! Thanks for sharing! You and your mom are super talented! 🥰
I loved watching this so much, not just touring through the space, but the utterly touching story telling attached to the many objects and her mothers art, so unpretentious and homely
I love Kiera's presentation; the way she describes every item she showcases in such great and loving detail. She is so simple, which is a charecteristic I really admire. What I love most of all is that she finds potential beauty in just about everything she encounters such as mouthwash bottles, a pretzel tub, etc. The covering of bottles and other items in paper maiche so that they can "hide" everyday items is very creative. I especially love the covering with safety pins that she put on the piece she brought home! The safety pins is what makes that particular cabinet unique and special! No need to sew it at all! I also like the way she has displayed many of her mother's artwork on her walls. The covering she made for her television looks like an art piece! Sequins on paper -- amazing. This is a lady with a lot of vision and talent. I loved this tour!
1:09 love the way she said my artwork is from love ones. That’s the best kind of artwork not all from Paris Africa expensive auctions or a famous artist like what is some of these homeworthy tours people like to show off she’s adorable and I love her name🤣🔥🤣
If you notice there is not one item trendy on her house. Quite magnificent because it’s really hard to not be influenced. She has a very unique home. Nothing is the same and she doesn’t really follow designer look. You can find a lot of inspiration in here all the wall art are beautiful. Her style is a bit messy for my taste but as she says it’s who she is
Isn’t she unique by being her and introducing us to her world she loves, the more the video continues she gets more and more interesting and I get more curious to watch all her pieces of art. She has a magic wand and turns beautiful or cute or unique simple but not nice to our eyes items. 🎉 her mother is an amazing artists 🎉🎉
I love Homeworthy but this has to be one of my favorite episodes. First it's NY so what's not to love. Second it's unpretentious, just an excellent example of a collected eye. I could live here. Thank you Kiera for sharing.
I really enjoyed this tour more than I thought I would. She's eclectic, a bit quirky, artistic, and imaginative, some of my favorite combos. It's so great to have art from relatives as well as her own art. Her paper måché is whimsical and fun, and her mothers art is fabulous, and her step-father's ceramics sublime, and her father's secret caché pot nostalgic. (pun intended) lol I thought her mother's painting of her aunt was genius in the sense that half of it was grounded and the other half of it incorporeal. It masterfully conveys our temporal earthly existence giving us a glimpse into the present, and our future, and a window into our past.
Great tour ! Let’s have more of these much more individual homes ! Way more interesting than the chopped cushion brigade 😅 The pastel paintings are wonderful 🎉
As a landlord, sometimes, I simply know that the potential tenant before me is the one, and I lower the rent. I’ve had some wonderful tenants. She is beautiful and her space is uniquely hers. I love it.
Also a first time commenter on Homeworthy! Totally inspired by the quirky, creative, laid back approach to a home and loved belongings. If I was a guest of Kiera's, I'd want to make stuff, talk about whatever, and would really be able relax. Dreamy!
Absolutely adored this home tour, was just a delight to see Kiera Coffee's describe all the different pieces in her space. So many beautiful works - and such a lovely interview to watch!
Last year I saw an exhibition of Egyptian I think.. pottery with those amazing animal motifs and fell in love with it. All I did was just draw them on paper. You have gone above and beyond, and created a jug like one of those (out of unbelievable materials creatively arranged!) AND incorporated as many of those graceful animals as possible! LOVE it!
I can really relate to multifunctional decor/storage - it's something so unique to NYC/big city livin!😆. Kiera's home and magical doo~ dads and artwork are really incredible✨✨ @homeworthy : MORE content like this please!
I remember typing tables! It was a blast from seeing one. I want to how she got the bookcase up the stairs, and what's in the other box besides the baking soda?
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Kiera's crafted objects and tableaux. The table is so beautiful and craft supplies in plain sight is clever. I will be borrowing some ideas for sure. This was a very refreshing change, more artists and artisans please!
Very charming hostess and home. Many good ideas, too. My hand lotion is always out and not so nice looking, so I'll think of an attractive vessel to transfer it to.
So thoughtful, articulate, and expressive - both home and occupant. Such a wonderful, meaningful, collection of art. Thank you for sharing it with us all.
This. Was. Wonderful ‼️ As with some of my all time favorite films, I will be watching this particular Homeworthy episode many times over so as not to miss any accidentally glossed over details.❤️
Best home tour on this channel, keep bringing more real, creative homes like this one! I have one paper mache bowl that I adore but struggle to keep it clean, it this lady is reading the comments, I hope she can give me some tips ;)
What a charming and talented woman and such an interesting apartment. Loved it. Would have loved to have seen the kitchen and bathroom, as I am sure both very interesting.
This is actually so inspiring! I have recently been struggling with my bathroom vanity area, there are some things that I can fit in drawers but I dont want them sitting out because they are ugly. But making something that they can fit in is so fun!!!!

Same here! This segment was fantastic! Homeworthy please!
More like this.
Many of these women are so pretentious! The ," uh's are so incredibly annoying.
this woman is a legend. love seeing real people in real homes over the overly wealthy looking houses. Artist homes are the best!
Love it!
There are a lot of people like that but, finally Homeworthy is realizing this is an important quality for us viewers! ❤
Same
Couldn't agree more. Unpretentious and confident
Yes, tired of the ones where money is no object and everything is magazine perfect.
Lovely home! I vote for more unaffected homeowners like her on Homeworthy! 🏡💝
I enjoy NYC apartment tours way more than the big estates because the apartment dwellers have to use every item and make multiple use of many items and keep the apartment looking welcoming and comfortable. Enjoyed this video.
NYC apartment tours are my absolute favorite.

Love this artist’s humble authenticity. A refreshing change from most HW tours. And not a single overused designer buzz word. I want to meet this gal.
Did you notice she didn't have a single 'moment' in her home? So refreshing.
Haha I was thinking the same exact thing @@pattykelly6621! It's so corny when they say that
Kiera's individuality and utter lack of interest in trends or impressing viewers with expensive furnishings are an inspiration. Spaces like hers--unpredictable, personal, meaningful--are my favorites on Homeworthy.

My kind of lady. Thank you so much for inviting all of us into your “casa”, your “abode”, your home
I love your home. It’s full of colors and textures. Very happy home. Love the way the place feels. Friendly and warm
I enjoy watching homes like this.
An aunthetic reflection of the home owner.
A home should be your comfort and joy, whatever that means for you❤
I loved all the artwork she had from her Mom. I think she was really talented.
Charming, authentic, talented, inspirational...I can go on and on. She is a breath of fresh air.

Why are you on the hunt for more tables when you've given them away?
Thank you for inviting us. You are a wonderful hostess & you have created a lovely home.
I really enjoy her artistic way of incorporating quirky found and handmade objects with beautiful personal artwork, textiles, and patterns

Favorite tour and person by far! Lovely.
Well she is true to herself which is so important!
My favorate pieces in your New York Brownston are the paper mashia vase and the retro lamp in your bedroom. That is amazing you have been there so long. Thanks for sharing your Abode.
I agree with other post i am loving the NYC apartments soooooooo much,so cosy...Here in Europe we have small house and i love that more
I just love this lady already being that the video just started
Fantastic. I can see why that landlord wanted you! You seem so down to earth, grounded...well...normal! Thanks for sharing! You and your mom are super talented! 🥰

I love how she makes little things look so beautiful
Wow, fun to watch! I truly need to take some art classes!
Love the creativity, and not a "foy-yay" in sight! (or hearing)
😂😂😂
Beautiful and authentic
I love the TV covers. I love the way her mine works.

I learned a fab new word:Tableau!
Absolutely incredible.
Would love to have seen the kitchen...there was just a peek with blue paint. I love seeing what people have done with old NYC kitchens.
Me too! Sometimes I fast forward to the kitchen.
I even yelled it out loud after seeing that pop of color in the distance…”the kitchen”!
one of my favorites so far and I have watched a lot of Homeworthy tours. so much personality showing through. very inspiring!
Well shoot I need to learn how to paper mache!
Oh yes you do! It's a great way to stop plastic fro going to land fills.
Absolutely adored this home tour, was just a delight to see Kiera Coffee's describe all the different pieces in her space. So many beautiful works - and such a lovely interview to watch!

Good evening from Australia- this was one of the most beautiful tours, I am getting up tomorrow to create something
What a delight to enter into this creative lady’s home
REALLY INSPIRING!!!!

What a wonderful space.
Colourful and kookie. I like that nothing is too serious.
I especially like your mother’s paintings.
Love this home!!! It's eclectic and theres something on every wall and corner for the eye to discover.
Very charming hostess and home. Many good ideas, too. My hand lotion is always out and not so nice looking, so I'll think of an attractive vessel to transfer it to.
Those pastels are incredible. Love the individual flair throughout
Glorious and inspiring woman
What a lovely woman, she has my dream job. Very talented and down to earth, love the home!
What a unique soul!!!! 👏👏👏👏
So thoughtful, articulate, and expressive - both home and occupant. Such a wonderful, meaningful, collection of art. Thank you for sharing it with us all.
Lovely creative lady. 🏵
This. Was. Wonderful ‼️ As with some of my all time favorite films, I will be watching this particular Homeworthy episode many times over so as not to miss any accidentally glossed over details.❤️
Love typing tables! Also, old metal file cabinets & desks.they never wear out & , can be changed, decoupaged, painted, etc.
What a wonderful home lived in by a most down to earth creative. so enjoyable
Oh boy! I love this wonderful woman.
Keep the envelope =it look s amazing where out is placed---love love love the apartment---just terrific 😊😊😊
lovely home! looking forward to the Alexander Gerard book!
She’s so quirky. I love her and wanna be her friend ❤
I really loved this home tour the home owner!
My favorite Homeworthy
Best home tour on this channel, keep bringing more real, creative homes like this one! I have one paper mache bowl that I adore but struggle to keep it clean, it this lady is reading the comments, I hope she can give me some tips ;)
An exterior establishing shot of these properties would be a welcome addition.
What a charming and talented woman and such an interesting apartment. Loved it. Would have loved to have seen the kitchen and bathroom, as I am sure both very interesting.
Loved this unique, eclectic handmade home.
This is actually so inspiring! I have recently been struggling with my bathroom vanity area, there are some things that I can fit in drawers but I dont want them sitting out because they are ugly. But making something that they can fit in is so fun!!!!
So creative!
Such a creative person! I think she is correct about homes needing a sense of whimsy to help personalize them. I'm just so bored when i walk into a living space and everything is perfect, staged and pretentious. Those rooms have no personality. They look like hotel lobbies. I like when people have things in their homes that make me feel warm inside, or , perhaps, make me smile or chuckle. I know I've got to learn a lot more about paper machete from watching this video. I'm intrigued!🕵️. My suggestion is not to do anything with the cabintry that holds catch alls on top. It is perfect just the way it is🎉
