A crystal clear piano player and a crystal clear view of what he wanted , and wanted to be. A collector of incredible art , beautiful homes and lived his life to the fullest. Who could criticize that, just jealous haters. When he performed you were transfixed , and wish you could live his, life for just a moment. Dedicated to his craft and entertainment, loved his family, was generous and loyal to his friends and especially completely devoted to his mother. An all around great person. The 76 tribute to the birth of the United States in his shorts and baton were just hilarious and over the top. And he knew it and loved it. R.I.P. I'm glad I lived to enjoy he and his incredible entertainment.

Who cares who sleeps with who?? My favorite music is classic hard rock, yet I can thoroughly enjoy Liberace's very entertaining style. It was part of my childhood to see him on TV, & to listen to his records at my grandmother's house. I found myself smiling through this whole video. Anyone who can make someone smile is aces in my book!!

When I was a kid in Australia Liberace's TV show would be on in the mornings straight after the childrens shows. Thats smart because kids were seeing and hearing this man perform and many never forgot it. For the fact he lampooned himself and had the gift of the gab he's almost the perfect entertainer. Lee was never afraid to be over the top. And thats what made him the best for so many years.

I'm fascinated by him. The HBO movie about him is fantastic (in writing, directing, and acting), but the 1988 made for tv movie plays into his many myths. However, the actor who portrayed him delivered a MASTERFUL performance: He BECAME Liberace.

He certainly was the best piano Player I've ever seen in person! And it doesn't make sense to me why people thought it was such a big deal about him being gay. It seem to be hard for him to even come out about it, but he was brought up an era when you don't talk about that. All in all he was a true Showman!

Notice that when he blinks his eyes never fully close. His face was tightened by plastic surgery so much that he slept eyes open. Yeah. Compared to other people who have plastic surgeries performed for themselfes, wont mention any names, his actually looks quite decent. You can tell he has been operated cause his face looks like it but it doesnt look like bad surgery. If you do plastic surgery on face, you really need to keep it minimal. Otherwise, even if its good like his is i guess, it shows too much and i dont know if thats good.

His stage persona was a character. The difference between him and others with "funny" characters (think Chevy Chase) is that other than people saying he was quiet at home or concerned about his legacy (most people would be if they had something so big and well known), most said he was a joy to be around, and generous and kind.
He's self deprecating, which used to be seen as charming and disarming rather than as a need to wonder what he was hiding.

Who knew not long after this that he'd be gone an at the time he had long time lover Scott Thorson. He looks horrible with his eyes after the surgery. He should have either sued the doc. or tried to get them done over or both. All the women that would kiss the TV , little did they know he was gay. That lady that said they call him Mr. Showmanship, Liberace himself first started calling himself that. His manager was such a piece of crap if you see more of the interviews. It's good the manager got all the jewelry because when Liberace died she only left him $60,000.He said nobody cared about anybody's lifestyle or what they do behind closed doors. Yea well he did everything he could to hide he was gay because he was so sure if he came out, he'd loose everything. Baby boy his dog is also what he'd call his lover Scott.
