I was there at this show and quite impressed. I'm of his era and he was a soundtrack to my high school days, especially the young ladies. Despite my rock and hip hop image, I always like him, but would never admit that in 1985.
I met him around 1986 at his house in Malibu. He was complaining about a female taking pictures up at Sierra Retreat which over looked his property. I found her and she was a realtor who took her female clients to spy on him. I knew she was going to complain about me so I beat her back to the station. I told the Sgt what she had been doing and Rick Springfield was complaining. As soon as I was done, she walked in. My Sgt said, "Don't worry about it". He went out to the counter and the Lady said, "I want to complain about your Deputy". The Sgt said, "Get the F*ck Out of my station"!
I cant believe he is 73 Better shape than most leftist in their 20's I saw him in like 1985 in NYC Continental arena or MSG I can't remember I was like 16 and he was like 36 amazing My GF forced me to go lol
