Edwin, that is one of the very best instructional or “how to” videos I’ve ever seen. I love the in depth information. From how much time you spend on a place to when to leave also how to find the proper depth. You hit a homer with this one buddy!
Not sure how I've never seen your channel before, but that was one of the best filmed and produced fishing episodes i've ever seen online. Not sure who is doing your production, but they get a hats off from me and I've been producing outdoor TV for 20 years. Excellent mix of information and entertainment also.
E you the man brother! Hands down my favorite in the sport! Love how excited you get and how you love to show your tips and secrets to other anglers! God bless you!
I really appreciate the education tips you are giving while you are fishing. I look at way too many videos on RUclips with fisherman who just like to show you what they’re catching without giving you all the tips like you are. Keep it up and your channel will grow. I appreciate what you’re doing.
Great video. I like how you explained how you look for them on your electronics first then how you fish them. Very helpful. The two bass on the crank bait was awesome. Thank you brother
Can't believe Project E is not a show on the Outdoor channel!! Awesome vid, so much info I have to watch most of your vids over and over to let it sink in!
Thanks for the video and all your others. I learn a lot from them. I fished on Grand lake back in June myself and I really love that lake. Keep doing what you do.
Another awesome video Edwin! Thanks so much for the education (especially on the electronics). Constantly learning from your team’s hard work. Brilliant series
Love watching my man Edwin Evers!!! Your videos are the coolest bass fishing videos in RUclips on my opinion with all the info you put in them and all the fun you have man!!!!! Keep them coming bubba!!!!!!🐟🐟🐟🐟
Edwin, this is a awesome video loaded with great information. You gave us tips on how to hold the real for longer casts and many tips on locating bass to finding the right angle to fish for them. I have read Bassmaster magazines for years fished club tournaments to professional tournaments in California. Edwin, it's amazing how much you teach us in just a short video. Thank you so much for giving your time to teach us how to go out and catch more fish. It's so awesome when your catching them.🎣🐟
Another tremendous video. I fished with Gary and Brian Price Friday at Oologah, we had some success early. These "Project E" videos are so informative. Great job by you and your team. Thank you and God Bless.
Thank you Sir! This is a MINE of info right there! Might have to rewind and grab a pen to mark that down! Looks so much fun too!! Can't wait for Part II! Many thanks for sharing!
Ive been fishing for many years. I learn a lot from your videos. I need a lot of Ed on the electronics side. Love to fish with you some time. I live in southern Oklahoma.. Set The Hook!
Great video it's be nice to see some shots of the maps to see the type of spots you are targeting like what are the depths around the points etc. Pretty cool catching two at once a couple times. Was really cool seeing the one chasing the bait almost out of the water as you finished feeling in your bait. Look forward to part two
Great video Edwin! One of my favorite ways to get after em, nothing like a deep head shake on a crankin rod! Keep up the good work I am really enjoying the channel!
GOOD video! Feel like I learn something with every one of yours I watch, especially the water clarity thing in this one. We have super clear water here in New Hampshire, so this was a great tip. Thanks.
Oh man, the double rod action cracked me up. Good stuff. Excellent video! I struggle so hard to get bit offshore. I'm trying like hell to get better at it, and this was helpful.
Being from Long Island, only a few opportunities to deep crank, but I'm now well informed and I like the general x5 rule. Keep up the great E series and great attitude!
@@EdwinEversfishing For sure! A few hours drive and some awesome lakes, not confident enough to try during a tourney with my club, but I have a good idea - start from you now.
Thanks for the video. I like how you systematically break down a topic but then throw in lots of little tips as well. I do wish for this one you had shown more screen shots of the fish finder. I'm trying to learn the art of finding fish offshore and knowing when a spot looks promising enough on the electronics to stop and fish is the hardest part for me.
@@EdwinEversfishing That would be great! Your breakdown on situations is so informative, I would really benefit from it applied specifically to fish finder images.
Since I only catch and release, I tell people all the time that I'm a fish educator (hahaha!)... and Wow, you hook into two bass at the same time two casts in a row... I've never even done it once!... Lol
Another awesome video! I know you can’t do it in tournament settings, omg lining is really popular here. Man... the fight of you catch a good one deep and 100yds behind the boat is tough!
Man really enjoy the way you commentate on the video. Informative and yet passionate on what you do. Found out about you when you were down here in the RGV fishing at lake falcon. Would of been awesome to meet you. Great job bud and keep up the good work!
I was fishing with my dad in late spring on a clear mountain lake and he was talking about catching two at once. He did it twice. We were throwing the Rapala original minnow. He caught two small mouth art the same time. Them about 30 minutes later he caught two big blue gills at the same time. I have never caught two at the same time on one plug. Still trying. Thanks for the tips.
Great educational video, thank you! We have 6' clarity here on Table Rock right now. I'm always concerned that idling over fish in say 20' will spook them w the big motor. Your thought please. Thanks!
Bass love to be on the other end of the line with this guy, his name should be the bass whisperer. Edwen is definitely my Favorite pro angler. And one of the best.
Awesome vid, Edwin! Keep 'em coming. Edwin, I would say that I fish some of the toughest fisheries in the country. What I mean is, 2500+ acre man-made reservoirs that are about 100 years old. These reservoirs are deep, clear, virtually (good) grass free, no shad, no current and most of the old channels have been silted in over the years. Would you have suggestion for how to catch the bass during the dog days of Summer? Days when it is blistering HOT, water clarity down to 20-30 feet, flat calm and zero water movement. Any suggestions? Please feel free with any questions to help.
What part of the country? Sounds like they would be really really deep if you have 30’ foot of visibility! At least 50’to 60’ feet deep with a drop shot.
@@EdwinEversfishing thanks so much for the quick reply. Take a look: ruclips.net/video/HKKpsLZ2cfQ/видео.html and www.enjoybaltimorecounty.com/play/liberty-reservoir . In that 50-60' depth you are suggesting...what would you target down that deep?
I enjoy your videos even though i dont have a boat or electronics :( I dont have luck with crank baits on the bank. Any tips for bank anglers? What depth running crankbaits should i have as a bank fisherman? Thank you.
Cranking has always been one of my favorites every time of the year. I usually rip and reel a lipless but I've never really swept and reeled a deep crank like you're doing. I've always just burned and paused burned and paused and then maybe a few jerks of the rod but I'm excited to start trying the sweep and reel technique that you demonstrated!
Sir Doubling Easy Double E making it look so brEEzy!¡ That was N A S T Y! Thanks and keep em coming! Question: What is your approach to those that are more suspended in the water column? How far off the bottom do the fish need to be before you're not trying to hit bottom? On suspended fish do you try and keep crankbait above, even, or below them?

What are your thoughts on fishing below thermocline? We had one from 11 feet to 23 and then DO went back up below this level, surface temp 87. Would the fish seek the cooler, oxygen water below the thermocline?

A 6.8:1 on a deep crank will flat out wear you out. It's SO much easier with a 5.1:1 which is why the Lews BB1 is the most popular deep cranking reel.
