    Hendrix was right handed. He wrote with his right hand. But for whatever reason, he learned to play guitar left handed. FYI. In 1990, I had the opportunity to have a few beets with Noel Redding in Trumansburg NY. He was very nice and shared some thoughts on the Hendrix years. Although they differed in terms of finances and where the money was going, Noel expressed his missing Jimi and that he had great affection for him. Sadly, now all three members of the band are no longer with us.

      Jimi was indeed left-handed. The reason he wrote right-handed was bc he was forced to do so in school.That was a common practice back in the day, a surviving practice from the dawn of time when ppl believed that being left-handed was sinister, wicked, of the devil.... Fortunately there are few places in this day and age that continue that misguided practice from the dark ages...

    Why isn't Linda Keith mentioned in this doc? She's the one who supported Hendrix for a whole year prior to introducing Chaz Chandler to Hendrix!
    She stabilized his situation and even gave Hendrix one of Keith Richard's ( they had a thing) white Fender Starts while he was on the road with the Stones! She was totally instrumental in getting Hendrix seen by Chaz Chandler at the Cafe Wha? In N.Y.C. She needs to be acknowledged! Otherwise don't bother calling this a real documentary if you're leaving out a key player in the making of who Hendrix became.

      Yes!...A great "sound painting", from deep within his awesome musical brain!...This cut has also been presented on RUclips as being a slowed-down version--and it sounds even more amazing, listening to his creative licks and good lyrics. Hard to even imagine how he managed to come up with this intensely beautiful work of Art.

    Not many people knew this with Jimi Hendrix first of all one of his hands was bigger than the other and when Jimi was young around the age of 9 years even before he had his hands to a guitar he worked in a grocery store just to earn some money or keep he use to use a broom handle when sweeping up in the grocery store and that's how he learnt to play the guitar so there's some facts about Jimi Hendrix ok.😊

    Neil Young said in this video that nobody comes close to his talent & i’ve heard Lemmy Kilmister say in a few interviews as well that nobody comes remotely close to Jimi Hendrix + Lemmy toured with Hendrix as a roadie.

    Why would you edit his voice........... the short sound bites of him singing is tampered with.

    • @MoreMusicShows
      @MoreMusicShows  Год назад +1

      The reason for this is because RUclips's copyright algorhythms instantly block any hint of Jimi's music, just like it does with many artists such as the Eagles. That's why you don't see many videos of these two artists here on RUclips, unless of course it's authorized by their record companies. So technically speaking, for this video to be seen on YT, the portions with dialog that had music playing in the background, needed to be processed through software muting the music but keeping his voice and any dialog intact. And I had to do this multiple times until it would eventually "unblocked" the video. So there's no choice in the matter, it's either hear it like this, or not hear it at all. I figure Jimi's story is important enough to get it out there, one way or another. I'm sorry you didn't like it, but thank you for your inquiring comment none the less.

    Jimi did not play the guitar upside-down. Maybe the BODY would be upside-down but the strings were always correct: bass strings on the top, treble strings on the bottom.

    ..it's too bad Jimi couldn't've found some kind of way in his busy hectic life, to somehow buy his way out of his messy contracts and get away from those people taking advantage of him, ..sucking his energies, ..and get with in the Beatles producer, George Martin at Abbey Road Studios, to get into a more structured discipline with his Art and Ideas.🦋

    • @MrThedonhead
      @MrThedonhead Год назад

      George Martin produced lots of bands but the Beatles were the only success as back then they just captured the sound and help create the sound the bands wanted behind glass some even worse white coats! The Beatles told what sounds they wanted and he recorded it unlike now where producers have there own sound
