I very much doubt these would be made of asbestos. That material was mostly used in high-temperature applications such as exhaust manifold gaskets, brake pads, under-bonnet thermal insulation and such. In buildings as well of course, but that was back in the 60's when nobody gave a damn. This being said, as your viewer Bob's RC Insanity said, it is only harmful if you inhale fibres (dust). I very much like your style which has evolved. It's a great way to show stuff. Straight to the point. There are loads of tutorials out there to make the difference in between a Phillips head screw and an Allen. We are all past this, for sure. Haha. Regarding that thermostat device, I think it would work much better if you made contact with the largest surface area available. Slap it flat on the motor lengthwise, see how that works. Keep up the good work either way, man!

I've got that thermostat just touching the motor, it's utter pants and not enough voltage going to it either.

Asbestos is only harmful if you inhale the fibers, removal is part of my job. Great bash and fix with the Typhon 👍🏻🍻

@@mehimrc1314 rob is right. One, I don’t think that asbestos, 2 pressed wet asbestos won’t hurt you. Heck we use solder? That’s probably more dangerous.

Try the surpass Hobby 0-42mm RC Motor Heatsink With 27000RPM Dual High Speed Cooling Fan for Leopard 4268 4274 4092 1/8 1/10 RC Car Motors (Color:Black). That one its perfect and the fans are blowing like crazy, a bit like a plane is taking off. Give an aluminium diff yoke a try, when you have to change the next diff. I stripped so many diffs. Since I changed the yoke to an aluminium one they are fine

@@mehimrc1314 Nearly 2yrs in and still trying to find or build a favourite 😂 crawling great because of the social side but I’ve definitely been enjoying the faster stuff over the summer holiday. Still yet to try the mendip raceway by me for some road action and yet to go and get involved with drifting. I’ll probably try get involved with drifting once the winter sets in, some warm indoor fun 😉

I want to rebuild my typhon 3s diffs but not sure how to make sure the pins are right and what weight oil i should use. I was thinking 10k rear and 20k front any advice
Is this a blx differential 37t or is it a mega based differential?
It's the blx 37T, the mega is a 49T I believe, input gears are also different 👍
Is the differential holding good?
The diff gave up the ghost after 7 packs cracked the teeth as usual. Got some seriously cheap aluminium diffs in now, need to do a video I guess.

The diffs don't work when you buy them they're that cheap.
You've probably seen them on eBay or AliExpress, they don't do spare parts so you have to buy another diff even for the crown gear.
Type in arrma diff sort high to low on eBay and you'll see they cost about £15 don't know dollar amount.

This is abit more expensive so I don't know about fitment and there's another surprise,,, the input gear is too long so it needs cut down 👎
