I love my new 2024 C8 2LT with GT2 seats. Ordered it in September and received it in early January. I ordered the convertible with front lift and mag ride. After doing partial PPF and full ceramic coating,my total was right at $100k. The convertible is nice due to the ease of putting the top up and down plus having storage space in the rear trunk when the top is down in contrast to the coupe that requires storing the top in the trunk. Today,in the 60 degree north Georgia weather,I simply pushed a button while sitting at a stoplight and the top was down in about 16 seconds.
@@badcholesterol For me,the Z06 is a waste of money. I have no plans to track the car,so the Stingray makes more sense. Plus, with a convertible and other options,I would probably have to spend in the $140k range. I believe the base model Z06(coupe) is now in the $115k range. Most Z06`s end up at $140k+.
I got my 2024 mist red conv. 3 days before christmas and I love it. I did not subscribe to Northstar and so I do not get to use the GPS Navigation. I had a 2015 Z06 that I could use the navigation w/o a subscription. Is there a way to use the nav w/o a subscription?

The HTC option was $7500 when it was introduced late into MY '20. The side intakes feed the engine with air. That air goes directly to the engine air filter. The passenger side on a Z51 does have an additional intercooler that helps cool the engine.

@@anthonykiedis1765you need to get out more. You’ll get your biggest discount on MSRP on Cacti in major markets. You’re not aware how the C8 market is changing apparently.
You aren't poor if you are buying a $70K or more car. Also, I always think this is such a funny "insult". What you really mean is "more affordable". Last time I checked, getting something for a good value isn't something only poor people do. Some rich people splurge and some don't. Just depends on the person. The C8 is a great value for what it can do (as long as you aren't paying some crazy market adjustment like the C8s did at launch.)
I dont like the new Corvette exteriors. Something about the sides that just doesnt appeal to me. I loved most of the older style corvettes from 2010 and beyond..
Great review,GP. I just bought the twin to this car with the yellow calipers and interior trim as you suggested. I thought I would regret selling my manual Z06 but the C8 is unreal. Looking forward to more of your reviews…

Mine was unreal until the transmission started leaking and needed to be replaced at 834 miles. Needless to say I no longer have the car.
well that's how it goes when the manufacturer values DEI and ESG over providing a quality product

I have a 24 2LT non Z51 with mag ride. I can regularly get 0-60 in 3.2. Sport mode and competitive mode with launch control gives me the best results.
HexAHgonal, not HEXaGONal.
the soft close "trunk" was standard on the late 80's IROC Camaro
Literally ALL of the old Cadillacs had it too.....

Honestly for my 2nd car I’m deciding between the Mustang Dark Horse, Supra and corvette 2lt. What do yall think?
2lt go for it bro. Mustang are Fords …. I know a guy with a Supra he hated he got it but Toyota is a great car
@Travisej2 .... The Supra is actually a BMW.
would of been nice to have seen more shots of the exterior of the car
Did you watch the exterior portion of the review?
