You asked, so I'll let ya know: Yes, people do hang on to a phone for 8 years. I am looking to upgrade after using the OnePlus 5 (not even 5T). So, just about eight years of usage. Still runs well. I am very impressed with it to this day. Only now starting to show signs of getting tired. Conclusion: Buying the right phone can last you, if that's your thing. Anyway thanks for the candid review 👍
In terms of battery life, you'll need to give it about a week to fully optimise. Also it'll get a few updates in the coming weeks and months that will improve the battery.
oneplus's phone aren t like samsung "learning patterns"..i had many 1+ phones including 12 and 13, the battery life is "ready to go", doesnt need to learn to adapt, trust me
The edge is a great phone for budget minded people. Does everything a smart phone should do. That said the one plus 13 is definitely faster etc. Both great phones, if you’re on a budget get the moto for sure. But if you have the money get the one plus 13
@@LoneLYListener_ Go for the 13. Apple locks you in to their eco system. Plus you can customize the phone to your preference. I'm a 12 user and my wife has the 12r. We both came from the 6. We loved the 6 but the batteries were dying.
Both are damn amazing phones. If you're friends & family, all use an iPhone, then it makes life easier. Both phones are super smooth & fluent battery life is amazing on both. Apple will update their phones longer, though.
God bless you. Same with me. And no reviewer seems to be talking about this, everybody is just talking about cameras! Cameras!!, cameras!!!, as if that's all that matters in a phone. How can they omit dolby atmos from this device?? I learnt that the Dolby Atmos was replaced with O reality audio, but is the O reality audio as good as Dolby Atmos???
@@wakaflockaprojectI had a Samsung and I switched to the OnePlus 13. I have no regrets. The speakers and overall audio quality on the 13 is very good, and there's a few customizable profiles for the audio as well. Another thing they don't mention in all these reviews, is the Wifi and 5G antennas and modems. They're all stronger and markedly faster in the 13 above and beyond Samsung. And I loved my Samsungs, but I'm loving the Oxygen OS better than One UI better too. Feels less bloated and is definitely snappier.
Hello good Sir. I trust your honest review more than any tech tuber out there. I still have to decide if I order the OP 13 because I usually use my smartphones until they don't function any more. I use an s20fe 5g over 4 years now. Cheers
One plus 13 would be a damn nice upgrade. You've no clue how smooth and fluent a phone can be once moving away from Samsung. Don't get me wrong, I love Samsung. im typing on an s22U. Yet the truth is the truth.
True, I'm still using my 6T. Even after they stopped all updates. But lately, it sometimes restarts its self, and the finger reader doesn't enable, so you have to use the pin number. Don't know if to get the Oneplus 13 or something else
@TechTalkVids o usually pull the trigger with OnePlus but this time I held out. Really enjoying S24U and with the S25U next week then I'll make a decision

Very nice your presence, we enjoyed it in the whole video that unfortunately only the back of the device showed us and nothing else.

Would you put the Motorola edge plus 2023 up against it, especially right now when its on sale for $399?

@TechTalkVids 10-4 👍🏾👍🏾
I have an iPhone 16 Pro. Im tempted to switch for the fast charging and Android customisability.
Me too
But size is very big
I ordered op13 yesterday and i have second thoughts,im thinking of canceling op13 and get iphone 16 pro max, what do you think?
It all depends on what platform you need the most
@TechTalkVids I was never an ios user and i was never an op user either so the only thing that concerns me a bit is how reliable op is

@@katinasoutherland7693 Noone in my family uses iphones or apple products so im good
One+ not having Dolby Atmos on the 13 turned me off big time. I love my music and Atmos is a big part. I will stay with Samsung for that alone.

Any noticeable difference? Or they just didn't pay the license

@Fister_of_Muppets How's the call quality? Microphone etc
How did you get the cameras on the opposite side in this video my friend?
No idea stock setting
Just lovin' it reaching 50°C and drawing 15W under load

Hey if your current phone works and has no issues keep what you got
@TechTalkVids thanks for the reply. Is my phone still save to use because I don't get any security updates now?

I’m asking because I’m debating between this phone and iPhone 15 plus. Your thoughts?
No question this destroys that iPhone
The best sound has Honor magic 7 pro
I have both. Happier with OP
Should be a great game
TK you're still in the breakin period for the battery.
True we will see
